You know once you go big! You never go back 🤣. This is like going from a V6 to a V8 supercharged 💪. Jesus! That's beautiful work on those engine's. Love it and the patience you have for your projects.

RCMAX makes the most bad ass engines I have ever seen. The power they throw out is just insane. Spending 2 to 3k on an engine is a bit pricey but definitely worth every penny. Maybe on day I will get one.
Every time I see you in the shop I have pipe dreams of owning something 5th scale. One of these days I'm gonna get myself out to see what the 5th scale drag racing club in NYC is all about and see some of this stuff in person.

I have two of these enines oe in my Kraken-RC Vekta-5 just polished the other for my Kraken-RC KV5TT powdercoated black they are mental the power is unbeleveable and not yet fully run in I got them just before lockdown so still need to do the final tank of the break in so really peeved and itching to go full throttle with them both, and let them rip the pipes are nice and the deep tone of these makes the hair on your neck stand up, I tought my Scott Finlay evo40RC was a beast in my LOSI 5ive-T it is nothing like these GT50's have fun man, put it in a Kraken either one it really wakes them up I hae OBR 38cc Widowmaker nope nothing like them.
I used the whole clutch/transmission kit along with back plate and top brace and 20/21 gearing on the Vekta-5 and 18/20 on the KV5TT, I had to go over to alloy wneels after ripping the centre out of stock and Silverback 5imian wheels. be warned it eats wheels
What are your honest thoughts on the RCMAX Lightened Billet Kraken Chassis? Is that better than the original Kraken black chassis? I mean strength wise? Some say RCMAX chassis weakens it?

I’ll be using them again on future builds but you can get them from DDM just ask Steve for the ones I used . You can get full force ones or from snappy RC it’s called the high flow fuel kit .

John how do I get my bearings out of my rear hubs on my 5B I have the CNC aluminum King motor hugs you're using that little nail looking thing that you said you picked up from a lawn mower shop and your armor press
Put them on a vice that has rubber teeth/jaw then use a punch or a socket to remove them then use the Arbor press or a C-Clamp or a vise and press the New Ones On!
I have to stop the video right here and add a friendly comment about the W-D40 thing . Ive been using that product that product for many many years and have never noticed any problem as described . Let me remind you of something els that hit the market many years ago and still has the same chemical ingredients it did when it first came out. ARMOR ALL, it green to preserve vinyl rubber plastic right? In fact it does exactly the opposite it drives the stuff out because it's main ingredient is alcohol. I guess what my point here is is someone will beat down the product then come out with a product specifically designed for RCS but they can make a bang bang with scheme off of. I've seen this many many times since the seventies with RC cars of all sorts Just food for thought . I would also like to say at this time the amsoil is the best motor oil on the base of the planet
Angelo RC sure with your 90 you can use VP C12 no worries even Sunoco Supreme 112 no worries at all especially with some good blood 🩸 mixed in it like Amsoil DOMINATOR Oil . It will even run cooler with that oil and scream all day! I also have multiple friends using cam 2 100 octane with dominator oil on there RCMAX 65 and 46 and 55 with no issues

Engine wise is there much difference between the RCmax 50 and 55 engines?
The Mighty 50GT is much more user friendly to use and a Torque MONSTER even compared to bigger . It all depends on what set up or platform your using!

regular 93 octane is no good, should i use a VP C12?
Go for something ethanol free. A bunch of options are around that should yield good results, cam2, Sunoco or VP. Whatever Is local to you.
You’ll have to find out how much compression your running and adapt your fuel accordingly
