Saturn Vue - Chevy Equinox - Driveshaft Removal

How to remove the driveshaft on a Saturn Vue, Chevy Equinox or Pontiac Torrent. These are the Theta platform GM SUVs.
The center support bearing is often worn out and you have to remove the driveshaft to replace it.
Check back later when we replace the center support bearing, U-joints, and repaint the driveshaft.

8mm......jeepers.....8mm is used on bicycles.
I'm still a Saturn fan. A wagon with a clutch pedal....That would be great right about now!

I was surprised to see those 6 tiny 8mm bolts holding it on as well!
