I only managed to listen to this song recently. It hits deep than a regular sad love song. I think you all hit the nail on the end with the melody and lyrics for this song. The meaning describes perfection, the melody expressing this sense of yearning for reassurance.
From my pov, the main character (MC) is fearing things that are happening yet. It's tragic to feel like that. The music video shows it well.

this is not the video I imagined when I first listen to the song. Rather than telling a story about unmarried couples this mv shows a story about marriage couples.
