I’ve never participated in a darkness retreat but my first meditative practice was to sit in a chair in my bedroom with eyes close and do nothing. I lasted for 15 minutes and had to get up because my mind was racing thinking of all the things I need to do, etc. 😂 There were so many thoughts crossing my mind. I was like…”forget this.”🤣🤣 BUT I did it again the next day and every day for 2-3 weeks and was able to sit still in peace for an hour. It was the most peaceful experience and my thoughts slowed down tremendously and I felt grounded. It was like my soul was releasing toxic thoughts, emotions and feelings. Cried one time but felt much better. Stick with it and you will see what I mean. Thanks Aaron for reminding me to get back to doing my meditation!!!!

Idk about 6 days but i did 2 hours in those deprivation tanks. Complete darkness in epson salted warm water...really one of the best experiences escaping society
Aaron Rodger's Tuesdays are even more fun when he doesn't talk football. I could see him hosting a show after retirement called something like Aaron Rodger's Wild Wild World, traveling the globe, etc. He definitely will have no problem adjusting to life after football. Very interesting person.

The pooping thing is honestly the thing that I'm hung up on the most with the retreat lol. Glad to see I don't appear to be the only one.
Never been a big fan of AAron, however I have mad respect for the man. Stands on the shooting line and smiles back. His take on plant medicine and therapy is something I’ve been doing for a year now and can vouch for the amazingness of it.
Aaron is so right. So much wrong talk about him only to get people to listen. I respect Aaron for taking time to make an important decision for his life. He thinks things through. I would like him back in GB but this is HIS life not ours. Aaron, do what is right for you!!

I love the Pat McAfee show. I also love listening to Aaron Rodgers' insights into everything. All of them are not afraid to speak and do it no matter who is listening. Also, Pat. Aaron gave everyone when he'd be going on the Darkness retreat. Go back and watch the show again. You asked if he'd be coming out and going straight home. He then said yes, and it'd be somewhere around the 1st of March. This means that his retreat will be next week, and he will get out the day before the 1st for re-integration into the world. Weird choice of word. It's more like re-acclimated to the world.

I haven't been able to watch or listen to any mainstream sports media or media period simply because of the way they all portray this man. It's unfathomable too me that you're the only show that objectively reports the truth about Aaron on a consistent basis. The only thing I feel and hear when watching and hearing Aaron on things is that he is such a compassionate and loving individual and who's even keeled nature is not a sign of indifference or aloofness its him showing respect, and feeling at ease with his environment and lastly his humility. We were walking in Portland Or and we got to an overpass I literally had to walk in almost the middle of it in order to make it.
I looked at this Darkness Retreat and it actually looks really cool. It seems very relaxing and they give you 2 organic meals a day. I would love to do it.
