- Schmitt (Jake Borelli) oversees Vic's (guest star Barrett Doss) care after she was injured fighting a fire. Travis (guest star Jay Hayden) tells her that Dean has died. Meanwhile, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Ben (guest star Jason George) have a heated discussion about him agreeing to look after Dean's young daughter, Pruitt, without asking her. Dean was one of the most passionate and just my all time favorite character whenever I would actually tune in to watch. I can’t believe this
Same! He was my favorite. Still absolutely crushed
It's just sad he never actually had a chance to tell her how he really felt.
But she knew and it’s the more important.
He did tell her and she responded accordingly that he was a GOOD FRIEND/brother. She didn't love him romantically.
Oh he did. The last thing he said to her was I love you hughie. I felt that was more special for them. ❤️❤️
Every death in this show makes me cry but Pruitt and Dean really hit hard. I was not ready!! Like whyyyyyy???? I thought it would’ve been the captain at 23 then that would’ve given Andy the promotion to captain that she deserves but when I saw Jack run over to Dean I was like noooo. I’ve had it with the heartbreaks man. Andy and Vic can’t catch a break when it relates to death.
The only thing is that people helped Vic through it and process it, Andy on the other hasn't really processed everything. She did grieve when Ryan died, we didn't see her grieve when her dad died, she up and married Robert, she found out her mom is still alive, as well as among other things.
Pruitt Death was traumatic Rigo Death to I felt bad for him
The first time i watched Dean and Pruitt die i cried my eyes out and couldn't stop
I've cried over all deaths in this show and RIPPLEY OMG that had me in tears
I don’t watch Station 19, but I know Vic has been through it Lord. And I love Bailey and Ben. I understand Ben’s decision. But Bailey’s right too. Communication is their thing. But I know she’ll lean in.
Same. I only watch the crossovers because I’m forced too. 😂
Station 19 is amazing and is co directed and co produced by Ellen pompeo
I understand Bailey but she’s getting upset at Ben for the same thing she did without talking to him aswell.
@@cecelove2821 Except was that before or after Bailey had her miscarriage?
I suggest you watch Station 19 it’s an amazing show
In all seriousness, every parent, first responder or not, needs to have this discussion. Ask, verify, then get it in writing. Tomorrow isn’t promised.
Pruitt dying I saw it comin' but Ripley and Dean never saw it and that hits me hard ...I feel sorry for Vic and Andy they cant take any more death!!
Andy happened to her. Her mom left but she lost dad a 1 year ago in a fire
But Dean daughter lost both parents baby/toddler age. Little Pruitt "Dean" was MOM/DAD FOR 2YEARS...
Poor Vic, Kwanza Ripley episode was really sad... he collapsed buying flowers for Vic, (I felt that)
Vic said yes to Him at the hospital even though he couldn't be saved... I hope they give Vic a "happily ever after " type of love
Considering Jack knew how Dean really felt about Vic, I really hope he gets to tell her. I mean I know she probably has the idea since Dean asked her to go with him, but sill.
He told her! And she didn't feel the same.
@@itsonlysound He did, but he didn't at the same time. When he asked her to come with him, she had the idea that he had a crush on her. But I don't think she knows he was full blown in love.
@@michaelgualtieri651 it don't take a rocket scientist to figure it out and when he ask her out she new and she didn't feel the same way only like a brother she never had and that's that
Once she said you're my brother he couldn't tell her.. but she knew when she told him how he said she confused Pru
She finally found out but it was to late🙄😭😭
His death was so unnecessary they could’ve put him in a coma or literally just had leave
They could have let him move to another state.
@@Masha987100 yes move to another state to start a movement for rights of POC or something Not kill him!
Right! Like why couldn’t they just let him leave!!!!
I agree he shouldve just left for a bit. Why kill him off in such a horrible way
The actor wanted him to die so that there was no chance for him to come back. He saw how people always push Sandra Oh to come back and didn’t want that. He’s moved on from Dean Miller.😢😭
Im so sad about Dean and when Vic called Lucas her fiance i cried too
but he was her fiance becouse he did say yes to her proposel
Didn't anyone else feel like it was so weird that none of the firefighters seemed to be concerned about Jack? Like, he came in with Dean and Ben but was then not seen again the entire episode...
I know jack was deans best friend
I was surprised not to see him anymore, Dean was Jack's best friend. I am afraid I will fall into a hole because of this, hopefully I will seek help. Diane is good at that job.
yeess!!! they could've at least thrown in a line about someone checking up on him cus that was HIS BEST FRIEND after all
I thought the same thing all the time. I suppose it is because there had already been many invited characters, but even so they should have given it more importance, Deen was the only close friend of Jack
I had the same feeling but I think it's because this was a Grey's episode. I know it's a "crossover" but Jack is not a Grey's character so I don't think the Grey's audience would care to see a scene about him because if they don't watch S19 then they don't know their relationship. They focused on Ben because they know Ben. Focusing on Jack would be for a S19 episode, not a Grey's one.
Bailey brings such passion and warmth to every scene she’s in. ❤️
I love the power in ben voice when he told her hes was my brother
That was the one time I ever remember him raising his voice at her
No I hate it! Dean and Vic were supposed to end up together at some point and raise pru together.. now we won’t get that!😭😭
Ok I know we are all sad about Miller but I have to say that I hate how everyone disrespects Levi, specially how Tseng talked to him in this scene like miss girl you do know he’s technically your superior??
Totalmente de acuerdo!!!
They did the same with George O'Malley
@@prajneshshetty9089 yes they did!
Ben: “I didn’t think he would ever die”
Me: -.- last year y’all fell off a boat into the ocean and used a dead fire chief as a life raft…
I thought they would both die in that episode. I was so relieved when they didn't. It's funny how we get attached to certain characters isn't it. Station 19 won't be the same without him but I am very glad it's not Ben that died
@@daniellerobinson6771 me too Bailey does not deserve that

Oak wanted off the show.
@@bigonbooks4736 why 🥺
@@elenamoreno7644 When people want off shows it's usually because they either want to pursue other things, they don't like the character/writing anymore, they want family time, etc. (Grey's has used all of these things plus have written characters out, under others' assumption people have no idea where the character's next arc would be). Oak spent years doing Hamilton, a very taxing show. Then goes to Station 19, which also seems like a taxing show, and probably wanted to pursue other things. Doing things for a long time--especially switching mediums so quickly--can probably burn you out, and both Broadway and TV are long term commitments. Broadway is at least a 1 year contract not including everything leading up to opening. TV is around 25 episodes, long hours and they're constantly in heavy equipment. After several seasons I don't lame him.
@@bigonbooks4736 Yeah, but they literally already wrote an exit for him - going to Oakland to expand Crisis One. They didn't have to kill the character, but they did anyway for shock value, not because the actor wanted out. Then they barely even used his death for good storytelling - I mean, they straight up fast-forwarded through the weeks/months after his death in the opening sequence of the next episode.
Really sad about Dead dying especially now with everything he was doing. 😢😢I loved Dean Miller.
I just got done with station 19 season 4, do I need to watch both shows to get important stuff like this? I don’t care for all the hospital stuff only the stuff that involved station 19s people and show

He wanted to be killed off
@@denorabrown725 did he ever say why?
@@elenamoreno7644 from what I saw and his new confirmed casting, we wanted to move on to other projects. Killing him off ended his complete appearance from the show. We cannot hound him to return because he is dead.

I understand Bailey been upset. I have been there.
The writers hate Vic Istg

EXACTLY
100% agree! They don’t want to see her happy at all
I KNOW THESE PEOPLE DIDNT KILL DEAN NOOOOOO 😭 my heart is so broken!!! I was really hoping he would get to tell vic how he felt and OMG PRU DOESNT HAVE HER DAD ANYMORE …I haven’t even watched it yet and now I don’t want to!
Did you not watch the Station 19 ep? He did tell her and she told him she loved him as a brother.
Please what season and episode?
I will never be the same again!!
I hope he had it officially and legally written up that his wishes were for them to take her and not his parents
This scene brought me over to station 19. Love both of these shows now
Deen's death really makes me sad, but let's face it, it makes a lot more sense for characters to die in this series than it will ever make sense for more than half of the characters they killed in Grays, that is, they are firefighters !!! Their profession is risky ... obviously that's not why they're going to kill everyone ... but it makes more sense. The actor wanted to go out and they gave him an ending that although tragic, at least it does not seem like a cheap way to do drama at the expense of a good character, as for example happened with George and Deluca
Sorry for my inglesh
out of the main interns only Geroge died. Out of every main character 4 died
It does, but they also kill a number of characters on the job - they could have written Dean out as leaving to expand Crisis One. They've shown time and time again that being a first responder is dangerous - Pruitt, Ripley, Ryan, and Rigo all died on calls. Travis's husband, Michael, died on a call. Theo's dad died on a call. Killing Dean felt like shock value with no substance, especially since they fast-forwarded through the aftermath in the opening sequence of the next episode.
I used to watch the show he was my favorite, just FIRED this show forever‼️💯
I HAVENT SEEN THE EPISODE AND AUTOPLAY PUT THIS VIDEO ON NOOOOOOO
I started watching station 19 since it was easy to catch up on and it was easier for me to not spoil the entire show (I found out all of greys anatomys major deaths).
I think I need to start watching the clips from CZcams since it doesn’t make sense when I don’t see the greys anatomy part of the show.
Anyone know what season and episode this is?

So upset that they killed *Dean Miller* off, I was here telling myself in the beginning that he would move and then maybe after some time *Victoria* would possibly follow because she missed him. *VICTORIA 's* family curse aint no JOKE at all. I am a person who rarely ever CRIES but I have to say this episode hit me to the core and I was crying like it was my family member who passed.
Watching this video had me crying all over again...
What episode was this?
Does anyone know the song that plays when she goes into V-fib
What episode?
When he said he wanted to leave I knew smth was off, I knew they wouldnt write him such a storyline just to make him stay. But once the explosion happened and he was hurt, I just didnt believe he would die I kept thinking it was a misdirect until I started the Grey's Anatomy ep then it rlly hit me that he was gone. Idk what to say except if the only reason they killed him was to give Ben and Bailey a daughter shame on them.
The first time he promised Dean was when they didn't think they were going to survive out in the ocean.
“You’re fire fighters Ben”

My heart hurts about Miller’s death. 💔💔💔💔💔💔
Tbh some deaths in this series were beyond heartbreaking and it kinda made the series froghtening to watch sometime considering the fact that you dont know who is going to die next, even how and when. The producer took 'death is upon every man' so personal.
Whats the name of the song that plays

Wait what episode of grey’s Anatomy is this?
Ugh this scene hurts my heart but I also can not stand the way that that intern/resident spoke to Levi
Noooooooo 😞
What’s a travesty more than anything is that what happened to Dean wasn’t even noble like Pruitt or how he wanted to go. It was a freak accident and he deserved way better.
💔💔💔😭😭😭
it's been almost a year but I'm still not over it... But then again I'm still not over Andrew DeLuca's death either so....
I feel for Jack too😩
😢😢😢
I really cant understand why kill him!
actor want to leave the show last season and stay to finish his character storyline
That's what they do. No one just leaves Station. This show has at least one death every season.
@@a_noelle8595 but if they don't kill them off and they just walk away, we aren't as invested and. We tend to just move on instead of watching clips over and over again, getting ourselves all pissed off.

Dean is my favourite character and this is so sad for his character to end so soon I hope he was given a chance to fight for Vic you people change and feelings to Vic might not love him back but you know later she might. And that will make the Show even more exciting and interesting. After Dean’s death I just lost interest to watch again it so painful to have these feelings for a women who never loved you back and because everything is happening so fast and then he’s dead.
This made me want to watch station 19 and knowing he dies all along still hurt.
Miller's death is honestly less effective in this cross-over. Since it's a greys episode. They are dealing with other characters and it just makes it less effective. Especially if you dont even watch greys.
If you actually watched the Station 19 episode, you wouldn’t say that. Even if only for the last 2 mins of the show, his death had impact.
That's why I am invested in both.

couldve moved his azz to oakland why kill? why make pru and orphan? explain. krista explain
To give Bailey another storyline?
He should have waited, she didn't need to know that soon. Let her know, certainly, just not now, smh. Let her get better, get stronger, then tell her, certainly before the service. That would have been mean. Now, who will explain to his daughter what happened to him?
Hell no
So is someone going to explain to me why Vic couldn’t have died instead I’m just curious or like the captain 🤷🏽♀️ but the main one who started protesting for poc and the one who just had a daughter and was a single father had to do FOR WHAT?!
He was leaving the show. She wasn't.
Dean was my favourite. I can't believe they killed him off.
I cannot bring myself to watch this episode.

I really dont like how they kill off all th good characters. Pruit, Ripley, Rayn and now Dean. Who is next
Not watching this scene again, just here to say how incredibly sad I am about his loss and I probably won't be tuning in to watch live anymore.
I was rooting for Vic and Miller so hard, I don't get how you can just leave a storyline this unfinished. I don't want to be rude or anything, but I've never been this upset about a mlw relationship neither have I ever been invested in one. I totally was with them though. Can't believe it's so short lived.
Miller didn't even properly say he loved her. Last thing he heard was the dissapointment of Vic saying she loved him as a BROTHER. That's all, then he dies? Really?
Making us think twice Vic was also going to die? Y'all my heart can't take this anymore. I shouldve stopped watching anything that has to do with grey's, I have a fragile heart.. I'm not gonna be invested in a show that's probably going to kill of Maya Bishop in a horrible way, a character I relate to so much, I'm not sticking around for that anymore. Every night waking up for Station19 at 2am, nah. I'm done. This hurts so much y'all have no idea what emotional roller-coaster we've been on from watching last episode of greys and station. I felt horrible ever since.. It's a great show but you made me realise it ain't for me.
Sea, I agree 1000%. I think I only watched the 1st 2 or 3 seasons of Grey's when it first came out. This right here shook me to the core. Maybe it's bcz I've got things going on with family members health wise. But honestly I really liked Dean and some will say "oh it's just a show" but there was something about the image he created in that role. Not sure if it's true but read that he was ready to leave and that's a good thing if so because I was about to stop watching but will give it a few more episodes. Don't know if I can watch her go thru this Again. When she lost the fire chief, Whoa! I almost lost it with her bcz she's good with her acting. Just lost one on the Resident and that was rough, Morris Chestnut and Dr. Olkefore left. Now that I'm typing this maybe I need change it up a bit with my viewing and figure out why I watch these type of shows.
