Oh I am so very curious about these new fragrances! Penhaligon`s is one of my favourite brands! It would be great if you could do a video about your favourites of this brand.
Watching this to reassure myself that I made the right choice with my Babylon purchase!! 😆Will be the priciest fragrance I own by a long shot. I discovered it on a trip two weeks ago (at the UK pavilion in Epcot, of all places lol), and was reluctant to buy it without sitting with it for a bit... plus, air travel with a glass bottle of pricey liquid didn't seem like the move. While reorganizing my souvenirs last night (TWO WEEKS after the initial spray), I was hit with this INCREDIBLE smell and realized I'd tucked the blotters away in my stuff. Couldn't deny it was something really special. Don't know if you'll know what I'm talking about, but... it's like a softer, more nuanced version of that discontinued(??) Burberry Original scent that I keep buying from after-market sellers. (Round bottle with a stout, cylindrical silver top... definitely a wintery scent imo.) Just found out about this yesterday but learned that it’s not for sale here in the USA. It’s exclusively sold at Harrod’s in the UK. Might purchase it in a few weeks on Harrod’s website. Just ordered Halfeti Cedar which should arrive next week. Looking forward to trying it.

I have really enjoyed watching through your back catalogue and as a huge Habit Rouge lover, I am so glad I watched your Rouge Prive video as it is one of my new favourites and I have already gone through 10ml in two weeks. i’m curious, in the few years since doing this video, do you still reach for it occasionally?

I've avoided them since they introduced those ghastly animal head cap range and all the oud. They also discontinued Elixir: did you ever get the chance to experience that wonderful incense fragrance?

I know this sounds trivial but I cannot not say it because it distracts me so much: you remind me so much of Daniel Day Lewis (I mean it as a compliment!). Also, I love The Favourite but second guessing now having heard your feedback 😢
Penhaligon's is definitely confused, if decidedly above average as a fragrance house. They've replied to an inquiry I just made and confirmed they've permanently killed Bayolea. It's like a kick to the nuts. I have to say, though, I reliably give a thumbs up to 4 out of 5 of the scents I sample.
I can answer that for you. Not remotely similar. Babylon is vanilla based. Sohan is a straight up rose oud with a firm cumin note. I prefer Sohan myself. Different strokes and all that.
Hooted out loud when Mr.P read that sentence. The Press Release sounds like it had been written by someone who had been given their chance to use their English Lit degree to the max. Good on him/her, as it's very entertaining for us!

As FYI: about a month ago I was watching a video on another channel and a commenter indicated that he/she contacted Guerlain customer service to inquire about Apres l"Ondee discontinuation and staffer indicated it was temporary because they have to restock on raw materials which are unavailable right now.

I'd have to re-familiarise myself with Cairo, but from memory, it's rougher than Babylon.
