Absolutely loving your CK3 vids... really happy that for once CZcams recommended such an awesome channel. Just a thought, but you should give a go at rebuilding the Zoroastrian faith as a Persian as it was so much fun in CK2 (using secret societies), maybe even remaking the Persian Empire. Would be really interesting to see how you would achieve it, especially with such phenomenal historical narration. Keep up the awesome work good sir.

I actually did a playthrough starting as Aella of Northumbria.
I used a mental break to switch religion, attacked Ulster, surrendered against both invasions...and then died alongside my son to simultaneous outbreaks of the plague and smallpox. A newborn grandson was able to ally with Gwynedd, survive smallpox, use mercenaries to conquer part of Mercia (Which was at war with Wessex and Jorvik), and swear fealty to England, when it formed. Through a lucky event, I befriended Alfred, who pressed my claim on Northumbria. I later used Meritocracy to get a claim on England, was elected by the Witan, and united Britannia. There was also a (successful) 30 Years Crusade for Denmark.

Not to brag, but I've reformed Persia as Gillian, then steamrolled into Europe through Africa. If I remember correctly I held just about all of the Middle East, North Africa, and Western Europe. And not one single secession war through the entire playthrough. Just kept restarting until I got 4 star commander education, and other good personality traits. The best way to deal with the seljuks is to put your spymaster in their capital to get a bunch of hooks, and then just keep murdering their leaders until a child gets on the throne, at which point you can just watch the empire fracture into a bunch of smaller, more manageable pieces.

Yeah, it's a bit of work but surprisingly straightforward even without strong alliances. The Byzantines are generally a good target for finding secrets and blackmailing gold for mercenaries, you've got some small neighbours to expand into using mercenaries and the abbasids rarely seem stable enough to pose a consistent threat. As long as you have land in two duchies, even if you lose a war with them, by the time the truce is over, they'll probably be busy with a rebellion or a war on another front.

The Sheikhdom of Tbilisi is ungodly difficult. You hold the historical capital of a pretty large Kingdom of Georgia next to you and get invaded basically immediately, and the easiest expansion opportunity is to the south of you, and is of the same royal family as Georgia, so they almost always join forces. Even if you choose to submit to the Georgians, the Kingdom will force you to change religions and and the Duchy of Tao-Klarjeti will invade you anyway. I tried playing about 8 or 9 times and the best option is to either submit to one of the two neighboring Empires, Byzantine or Persian, and just hope that you can develop your county to become economically powerful and influential.

Actually, the blind dude from Asturia was one of my first campigns in CK3. If I remember correctly, I think I didn't understand how many things work back then, so I stayed as Asturia's vassal for a long time untill I somehow inherited it peacefully. I was doing fine, because the vikings were killed by France and the Muslims got divided and were fighting each other. I lost after some time, because I couldn't manage the elections and the game ended when my last dynasty member died.

The hardest start that I've done is Count of Lancaster in the early start. It took me 37 tries to finally be able to free myself from Northumbria before the Norsemen managed to conquer it. Then, I managed to grow under Jorvik's duke, eventually took it over and became vassal of the King of England, only to take the title in the same generation and to elevate it to Empire. Then, as anyone else would do, I conquered most of Europe and made it my dynasty's breeding ground for renown farming!

There are actually three ways to obtain an heir as Munis (though the one mentioned in the video has been patched. They are all random events however, and I believe require a kingdom level title. First, you may be approached by two vassals arguing over who gets to marry a girl, and you have the option to marry her yourself, giving you the opportunity to look the other way to any children she may have. The next situation is similar, but involves two women arguing over a child you can choose to adopt yourself. The last is when you have a lowborn orphan in your court, who you are presented with the opportunity to adopt.
Adopted children inherit normally, but have penalties. I'm not sure, but adopting children might work for post menopausal women too. I guess they would have to be single or in a matrilineal marriage though.

I created a custom character for the two Zoroastrian provinces on the west coast of the Tahirid emirate with the express goal of restoring Zoroastrianism while keeping the Gilan dudes dynasty alive until the end of the game. Formed Persia and now they’re a great dynasty as my vassal, holding a kingdom tier title within my realm. One of their branches sailed off to India without me even noticing, until I realised they’d somehow carved out an independent Indian kingdom.
Also unwittingly united Tibet and converted it to Zoroastrianism by marrying one of the most powerful rulers there, converting her and helping out with her wars.

I made quite good "Hyperborea" campaing starting as Tyumen tribe. It's the closest to thing i did in CK2 with making Syktyvkar into richest city in the world, too bad Komi was cut from CK3. Siberia is far better with development system here since it's mostly forests with occasional plains and hills, compared to mountainous or steppe regions, those are nightmare to develop, less than gaining new barony slots in CK2 but still.

I know this is old vid. you can technically adopt kids from events, a cultural pillar, and this might of been working before, mystic treatments can cure anything.
changing faith or culture was easier before but they had no buffs or differences. some of these are only hard if you don't do that.

I've tried to start Armenian (not found that suffering guy, was small vassal in Kakheti).
It is not so challenging as may look like, cause the region is divided and you have enough expand options (one adequate ally will be enough to start the expansion). Byzantium does not really care of you, so does not Seljuk. Major problem is forming a kingdom/empire - big strong guys block all nearby options, and I ended in forming brand new empire through decision (you can try to take the Byzantium Empire lol).
