Hey guys, this is going to be my 4th and final Undertale arrangement for CZcams. I've had blast making these, and since the majority of my other Undertale covers are slow versions, I wanted to make this last one much more upbeat and technically demanding.
In my right hand, you'll notice a lot of times I play the melody with 4-5 fingers while 1-2-3 play staccato notes or follow the left hand pattern (like at 0:14 - 0:19 and 0:47 - 0:53). I don't know if I'd say this is a "signature" technique of mine, but it's one that I find myself often working on and incorporating into my arrangements/piano compositions. Basically one side of your hand is legato, and the other is independently staccato. It's taken me quite some time and a lot of Bach for my hand to become fully relaxed while splitting it in half like that, but it's certainly one of my favorite techniques!
Another technique I love is giving the left hand the melody & bass note while the right hand does a comping pattern, like an alberti bass or an arpeggio. If you follow my channel i'm SURE you've seen me do this.

Your ability to play normal and staccato with one hand at the same time blows my mind.

I've listened to this one now 54 times. I saved it and listened to it for most of my car ride while solving a Rubik's cube.😂 I love how this piece has so much emotion and points of climax. I will be attempting to play this piece but I'm not sure if I will be able to but I'm gonna give it my best shot😄
Now that I listen to this again it brings back great memories of of our vacation that year. It's very sentimental. Thanks for the great music frank!

the way this song is played by you makes me see a scenario where someone has experienced a sudden tragedy and having to overcome the strain of emotions, but when they finally feel like they're getting a grasp of things, suddenly tragedy strikes again and they're going through a sort of madness before finally coming to a sense of clarity/closure and acceptance.
