Hogs Wild to Alaska - Day 17 - The ride from Anchorage to Valdez.

What’s it like riding a motorcycle through Alaska. A glorious up front view of the beauty of God’s creation.
Every time I take a picture of a mountain or a flower or a lake I think this is the best and then there’s another and another.
We take breaks to get fuel or stretch our legs every couple hours so riding. The roads have speed limits of 60 miles an hour or less. That makes riding 299 miles take closer to 7ish hours and that depends a lot on how long we allow our breaks to be.
The road to Valdez is beautiful and different from the others in that we got high enough to be in the snow. We saw several glaciers from afar and many waterfalls that I hope to get pictures of tomorrow on our way out as we’ll be back tracking for a while before we turn off to head back to Tok.
