The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 is set to be the 20th edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest. It is set to take place in Yerevan, Armenia on 11 December 2022, following the country's victory at the 2021 contest with the song "Qami Qami" by Maléna.
When it comes to Junior Eurovision, we are trying to be very careful as we think all the kids that are representing their countries are extremely talented, and we feel we can't be harsh when judging the song, however, you requested we will be reacting to JUNIOR EUROVISION 2022 - REACTION - Recap all songs.

It is actually a real quality year in JESC. My personal favourite is Georgia, although, to be honest, it feels like it fits more in adult ESC.

UK, Georgia and Serbia as a typical balkan ballad are top 3 for me this year. Probably the best jesc ever in terms of quality of songs

And also, what we see in this recap is only the first chorus so that's why it's a bit slow for some songs.
Its mainly the 2nd chorus, no?

Happy to see you doing this reaction! 🤩But I def see your point on reacting to kids songs/performances and then potentially criticizes them, it's a big difference between child and adult artists. Can't wait for your upcomming reactions to the new Eurovision season! 🤩

the main problem is that this was supposed to be a child version. But the adults watching it, change the game. Obvious adults will never like child songs. Thats why Qami Qami is so popular among the adults. Its a mature song that could be sing in eurovision. I personally, find weird a 10 years old girl singing about love or a breakup.
Another issue is mixing 15 years old with 9 or 10 years old. The voice is different, the mentality is different and the list goes on and on. That also affects the song... anyway! lets just enjoy the performances and forget the votes hahahah

My winner is France it is so cool, and Portugal is my 2nd, Nicolas voice is very different from the others but cool and his carisma is cool too and I love the rock vibe. I think either The UK, Georgia, Armenia or The Netherlands will win.

I'm a French mom born in the 70's and I will give 12 points to Portugal these year! Rock, charismatic and cool. Spain also give me a lot of joy

If you're going to listen to the full versions of any of the songs I'd definitely recommend Armenia and the UK and maybe Georgia as well because I don't think the clip showed it off as well as it could have
I've never really known much about JESC (I might have to do a little research in the coming days) but based on these - Armenia, Kazakhstan, Spain, Ukraine, and United Kingdom seem like the contenders to me
But geez these kids are VERY talented.

I like your reactions because I always feel we're getting the truth from you & you're not afraid to say if you don't like something. Not that I'm a grouch who always likes to say bad things, I simply like honesty. So I perfectly understand your reticence to give your opinions on JESC. Who wants to say bad things about kids plus, let's face it, these kids have far more talent in their little finger than someone like me has in their whole body! Lol I wonder how many will perform as well live though. I know the UK wasn't as good during her first live performance, purely because of nerves. Hopefully she'll have had a lot of opportunity to overcome that by the time of the competition. I don't like to see kids feeling unsure or lacking confidence when they're in such an exposed position. I honestly don't know how the kids cope as I wouldn't be able to perform on such a huge stage & I'm used to speaking in front of hundreds of people. They have the talent, they just need to have the experience to develop stage presence. I wish them all good luck & hope they enjoy every aspect of the competition.
