How to play Spider Man Remastered on PC with a PS4 controller. 100% WORKS!!!

I was ripping my hair out trying to make my PS4 controller communicate with the PC version of the game. Alas! after 8 hours I got it working so I thought I should share so you don't have to suffer.
LINK FOR EVERYTHING: search "ds4 windows download and .NET framework" and click the first link that pops up cuz apparently YT wants me to send them a 30 second of me staring into a camera to be eligible to upload a link (idk why).

You did'nt tell if you have to connect ds4 in usb port or what.. After opening d2 windows no controller says

In hidhid sw i donot see xbox360 controller instead i see 2 ps4 controllers in steam

disable steam input and disable one of the top controllers in HID4HIDE. should work just fine

this works , but why my button is setup like x box, it uses ABXY, how can we change that?

@@bababooey4772 i got it, go to the ds4 settings and turn off the x box simulation thing i forgot the name, just turn off the x box bind thing
