I had the same thoughts about Season 1, except I thought the acting was just plain "bad". I thought with Roland Emmerich involved they might find some decent actors or even one veteran to anchor the show. Alas we got who we got and what we got. I think the only reason I'm going to watch Season 2 is to see if it can get worse, not better.

Fair enough, but the trailer actually surprised me, i mean, it actually looks better than what Disney has been doing with the Star Wars brand...
