Back at the start, I sold tanks to be able to afford tanks of a higher Tier on the same Tech Tree. Then I changed up and decided to wait it out and grind credits to move up. I regret losing some of the tanks I had (some of which I have repurchased over the years as Collector's) and the tanks I missed out on that have now been completely removed from the game. Point is, I do not sell anything. Everything stays in my garage. I love my TD's especially. One of my favourite tanks from the start was the Pz. IV D. I would say my favourite three Tech Tree tanks that I play are: Tiger II (even though I struggle with it), STB-1 (struggle with this one as well but it is a fun tank to play and when I have a good game, it is a GOOD game), and most recently I have fallen in love with the Ferdinand (still working on Crew Training to 100% but have had a couple of 4K damage battles and even got an ACE already without 100% Crew Training).

There is always the tier 5 American heavy, the T1. Its a beast at tier 4 and 5, most cant pen it head on. And while a bit more difficult, you can pull your weight at tier 6.

Emil I or 1951 or both. A.2 shot M VI Yoh and 2 shot M V Yoh. 1 shot SMV CC64. Hellcat. Will have to try the Waffle, but not much of a camper at all. Just my OP of course.

Agree about T49, I load out half and half HEAT and HE. Agree about Waffle, in a lot of ways far better than the Grille. Tiger 1 less so, historically more accurate but I prefer Tiger(P) to play.
If I was to pick three different would be:-
Tier 7 SP1C. Very manoeuvrable, great depression for going hull down and firing over ridges.
Tier 7 SU152. After researching the 122mm guns for tier 8 go back to playing the DERP 152mm. Close to same gun as Smasher. HE devastating. HEAT amazing penetration.
Tier 8 KV4. I think a lot move to Tier 9 without researching the top gun. The top 107mm Zis gun in comparison with the prior 122mm has great penetration, better accuracy and superior DPM. Really makes the KV4 a keeper.

Interesting-love your first two picks but the KV-4 is absolutely atrocious imho. Too slow, too little armor, and what good is good pen when your dispersion is through the roof!
I’d much rather say the VK45A is worth keeping…do what you will with that!

Curious..... VK45A I've always regarded as having poor armour, especially in comparison with the Tiger 2. Has better manoeuvrability and I play it more as a medium, especially if lower tier.
KV4 can move to tier 9 with base turret and top 122mm gun. To fit the TOP 107mm Zis gun first need the top turret. That has 40mm front, 20mm side and 10mm rear increases in armour thickness. Really makes a heck of a lot of difference.

1) VK36.01H
2) Chi-to SPG
3) AMX50 Foch (57% WR with this thing)
