New bike season continues to deliver, as we recently spent the day out at Perris Raceway for the 2023 Kawasaki KX250 model launch. Although it may look like the 2022 machine with some new graphics, don't let the similar bodywork fool you, as the KX250 is all-new in 2023. After going over the new motor and chassis on the machine, we cut our test riders loose on the 2023 Kawasaki KX250. Press play and see what Pat Foster and Rene Garcia had to say about the new KX250 after a day of motos!

You guys should have a 22 model there to so the test rider can give the best review on what changed and what hasn't. The new model might not always be best.

Why do so many videos have music playing. I want to hear the BIKE! Not a music video!!

Yeah! Especially sucky music! If anything they should play some good heavy metal. This is a man’s sport!

I like Swapmoto’s reviews. But, why does this dude keep saying is a “totally” new bike? It ain’t! If anything, it is improved. Not even Kawie labels it like that. They call it “updated.”
Now, l hope (eventually) Kawasaki for the real “totally new” model in 2024 or 2025 reshapes the excessively massive swingarm and muffler…

On 2021 kx250 my clutch discs brokes apart every 2 hours, because of high rpm engine and no midrange power at all. I must use clutch in every corner. Now i ride a 2018 kx250 and no problem at all.

more power means shorter gear time- never quite got why people dont get that. only way to change that is longer gearing be it internally or sprocket wise.

I hear ya! Testers often say how an engine will just keep pulling and take ages to hit the limiter as a good thing. If the engine had another 5hp in that top rpm and found the limiter a lot quicker they would probably complain 😂
