David Ryan was featured in Market Wizards by Jack Schwager along with William O'Neil. David got his start working at William O'Neil & Co and later became the Chief Market Strategist and first Portfolio Manager. He has since run a hedge fund and entered the ETF business.
In this interview, we discuss his journey as a trader, methods for stock selection, entry criteria, and when to sell. We also discuss current leadership stocks and the market.

What a video! I can watch this over and over again. David is a gem. A quick question: I remember a video of his, most likely @ TraderLion where David speaks about taking a 25% position at the break-out, 25% at the end of the day, and then the rest of the 50% position the next follow-thru day. Is that something you can help me locate, if it's in your channel?
What a great interview already. Big takeaway so far has been to review the group charts on the weekend to gauge the market health and what groups are setting up for big moves. Then focus on the leading stocks in those groups. Awesome take away!

This is one of the best interviews that I have ever watched. Thank you Richard for this Interview. David and Mark Minervini are my two gods in Trading. I have learned everything about trading from these two gods. I have one question, what is the bible that David was talking about?
Like to thank both of you for spending the time for this presentation. Even as a seasoned investor I could learn or at least get confirmation on some issues and David is an excellent example of a trader and investor that can handle his success and keep his ego in check. I think these are very important qualities an investor needs to acquire if he wants to become successful in the long run.

Such a nice Interview, once again you have helped me alot! I think i finally know at what time Frame I wanna trade. I was struggeling with that so much, trying to cut out 2-3% from small daily moves, overtrading like nothing else. But right now, it seems so clear.
