- Thrift with me for FALL 2021 FASHION TRENDS! It's that time of year to talk about Fall Fashion and we are going to look at the recent runway trends as inspiration to GO THRIFTING. I am not someone who takes runway fashion too seriously, but this was a super fun THRIFT & STYLING CHALLENGE! First we'll talk about the TOP 10 FALL FASHION TRENDS FOR 2021, then off to Savers and 2nd Avenue Thrift stores, where I'll share tips for HOW TO THRIFT 2021 Fall fashion trends. Thrifting is an amazing way to get ahead of the trends because you don't have to wait for the runway styles to trickle down to more affordable fashion lines -- the styles are already in your local thrift store! Not to mention, VINTAGE is always in style.

I am so jelly, your thrift stores in the U.S. are so much better than Canada. The shoe sections are amazing. Shoes are hard to shop for, most are overpriced and worn out. Good haul and great styling, thanks for sharing.

My recent finds: Ralph Lauren black ruffle front black puffer vest....gorgoeus; J Crew Camel pop collar wool blazer; Ann Taylor black tuxedo blazer; these are all things I would have bought new..wardrobe staples...I have a stack of last years cropped thinnish cardigans I thrifted they are perfect...white and red with rhinestones and pearls qualuty brands and several more. Bolder gold earrings are instyle I have a collection of. my own from the 80s and 90s and they are so beautiful....will be wearing those. I like the burgun dy that is in this fall I want to find a velvet blazer or smoking jacket for the holidays in that color.
I could use a structured baguette with an unstructured bowl of soup right now...

I can't for the life of me mix patterns, but I'm ancient......
I'm still trying out the pattern mixing myself 😆 all i know is that leopard print, polka dots, and stripes are pretty much considered neutral and you can start with patterns that have similar size and color. Have fun with it, or just skip it altogether 😂😉💓
I like the dark academia outfit best. It was great how your intuition was telling you to 'blow this pop stand' and move on and when you did, you found a better store. #wisewomanthrifting

We are already quite cool here 🇨🇦 so already wearing layers, oversized sweaters, tights, boots and chunky scarves!!! Fall started part way through August this year....winter is going to be very, very long!
Ooh nice, but yeah that does make for a long winter! This time of year in Virginia is called false Fall; it will be nice and cool for about a week so you dig all your sweaters out the closet and then bam -- sweltering temperatures for another month 😅
i went to a warehouse in Silver town E16, called Thrift factory Kilo sale !!
They had a massive selection you could spend a whole day there.
They only allow some people to pick and choose as they are really exporting mostly. but They also do events , thrift factory £10 per kilo
You need a strong back to go through the clothes as mostly in cages and Trollies.
But it was worth it as many where Brand new with tags.
Not all sequins are the same. True vintage pieces have the best most desirable sequin work (IMO.)
Wear a blazer over that satin black négligée that is totally on trend

@@NikkiTerryStyle no judgment at all! I always feel like a total heel when that happens to me 😂 also, did you know that’s “a thing” - the pest co soliciting? I knew a 19/20 y/o guy who said that these companies will hire young people to travel to other areas to intensely canvas door to door, and supposedly they make ok money doing so, if they can stand the rejection
I hope they do! The ones I talk to do a really good job and I try to be extra nice because I know it's not an easy job. I need to work on myself 😂🤷♀️

Love love the brown faux pleather paper bag waist pants and sequin top together, never would I have guessed that! Then the jacket. Got to go shopping for this look. Can I wear it on FLA its still 95? WOW just wow on the slip nightie with sweater over it. I have a Natori Slip nighty I thrifted, now I can go style it...thank you.
Yeah the sequin tops can be heavy and less breathable, definitely look for something sleeveless 😉👌 but you will have so many good options styling that slip dress, I'm glad you found one!

I absolutely loved the pants, white button down shirt and maroon vest. Adding the cobalt blue jacket gave it the pop it needed. This was such a great video. 😊

I love your belted sweater trick, I need to try that! Having actually lived through the y2k fashions in my teens and early 20s, I cannot abide, I have too many terrible fashion memories lol. The ridiculous layering? The super low jeans? Butterfly clips, scrunched hair and side bangs straightened to a crisp? So many questionable choices were made Lolol
