I STILL have haunting memories of the gimp suit whenever I see San Andreas gameplay.
Over a decade later, i still remember that mission.
Can't say I recall such specific events from any other game.

I completely forgot about that mission lol. For me, I was shocked as a kid watching Pulp Fiction while my mom was sleeping. When I was 19 playing GTA:SA on release, for me, it was more of a nod and laugh to the previous decade and my own childhood. Even though Pulp Fiction was a bit more graphic and intense due to the lake of crude 3D, it's great to see that GTA SA had the same effect on people lol

It was pivotal in gaming history, even moreso than GTA3 was with the creation of the engine. But it's surprising none-the-less due to Rockstar, who actively work against the community when any mod makes ridiculous strides to improve the old tech. As someone who still is constantly modding Doom and Build (Duke Nukem 3D) engine games, I love that they recognized their contribution to gaming and wanted gaming as a whole to evolve from their creations, even releasing source code for programming/modding communities to keep the engines. Considering the massive strides in open world gaming that rockstar made with GTA3's engine, you would think tat now would be the point where they would release source and let modders have their way with it to keep the classics alive - but noooooo... Even though reselling them as remastered garbage doesnt even bring a months worth of GTA online income, they still would rather say fuck the modding community. Damn I hate these greedy giant corporations having control of classic IP..
It's cuz San Andreas is such a great game even today. Even I still play samp on it from time to time.
What I do love about NFS SA, is that the cars either have their designs improved or just completely remade and just looked very good

This game has infinity functionality. Since 2006 i play this game and never get bored there is always something to do in GTA SA with modding. This is the best game ever made for me!

This was so fun to play. I got like 400 hours on it. You got like AAA games like forza with physics RNG glitches and this gta mod is just fire
Ever since I saw car customization in GTA San Andreas, I've always hoped that we could race with our own cars on those race events.
While that never came to fruition, I'm happy to see that it could be done. Kudos!
Also, are the cars less fragile? I don't recall San Andreas' cars doing flips and surviving
Any bump and the parts already switch to their damaged models.
So yeah, cars seem to be less fragile to fit NFS better

the old NFS games, including NFS World is already on the same engine as GTA SA i think, its Renderware engine.

i mean if it was possible to grind in single player races that aren't locked under a pointless timer, i would definitely enjoy it, trying to progress as a new player is impossible as the vast majority of the playerbase is already high level, and races are hard to come by, especially if you're an american player and the mostly central european playerbase is asleep.
If they offered a way to grind as a new player like you can in Midnight Racing: Tokyo, this would be an EA killer, and add a SHIT TON of replay value and keep players online for more than a few minutes before getting bored.
