Morgenberghorn 2249m /Leissiggrat/ Challenging ridge hike /T6/ from Saxeten

There are mountains, where we keep returning. Morgenberghorn in the Bernese Alps in one of the mountains. In 2018 we did the Leissiggrat, beautiful exposed grass ridge, amazing T6 route high above Lake Thun.
We started just like for the first time in Saxeten where we've left our car. Saxeten is small mountain village above Wilderswil at 1100m.
From Saxeten, first we follow marked path to "Ausserberg", that leads below the ridge, at 1614m there's small river, there we are going straight upwards to the ridge, there may be no visible path, but anyway the main point is got to the ridge. As soon as you hit the ridge,
you cannot go wrong. The route up to Morgenberghorn is classified as T6 hike, very difficult, exposed, few climbing sections but II.UIAA max.
Otherwise T4. For descend we chose South ridge, the marked path via Renglli pass, back to Saxeten, something about 2hours.
In overall:Beuatiful tour, for those who likes the challenge, aren't afraid of heights, with beautiful summit panorama. Bernese Alps is a paradise for "ridge hikers"!

Die Qualität eurer Videos hat sich mit den Jahren deutlich verbessert. Danke fürs Video, den Leissiggrat würde ich mir nie zutrauen aber nun kann ich es gemütlich auf meinem Sofa erleben :-))

Another great impression from the region; thanks for this. I guess this goes into my bucket list for 2021 now :-). Did the Allmengrat in September, and loved it; this one looks similar.
