People have no idea when commenting the colour is bad, some colour of cars are so hard to match you can spend 3-4 days keep painting it, personally that ford looks really well and you always get a bit of a colour difference between plastic and metal, you guys keep up the good work you both work so hard you deserve the success you've had, can't say i've ever seen a bad video of yours.
There are color matching Machines that can get very close to spot on and the Spray Gun of today don't allow you to use a ball bearing in the pot as you spray to keep a even MIX as you spray. But it's a Flip Car you get what you Get or buy something else. Info Only :)
I don’t know why so many people think that they have to get on here and constantly criticize. The content is always good and no one is forcing you to watch.
I call them armchair procrastinators…. Who probably never achieves anything in life.. don’t worry about them… Nico brothers continue to excel and I’m sure improving their lives daily..
The car is looking good and the paint did match up well. It does seem that plastic is always harder to match up to metal so don't worry too much and yes I agree that through the camera it can look worse than it is. Great quick re-build Brothers, keep going with the every day builds they are what pays the bills. 👍👍
The gap on the front of the hood between the grill and the hood is far wider on the driver's side did you not align it correctly love your videos here in the UK.
Why don't you paint the underside of the hood? It just makes anyone who sees it say this car was in a wreck.
I agree. An unusual slip up by the guys. Must’ve been pressed for time as I haven’t noticed this in the past.

They aren’t trying to hide that it was in a wreck. Of customers want a new car, head to the new dealer. Folks buying restored should have appropriate expectations in my opinion
Probably the expensive paint. They’re going to end up with a rebuilt branded title anyway. They won’t try to sell it as a clean title.

Hey guys check the harmonic balencer on the front of the engine the metal part of the pully comes off the belt then rides on the rubber insert cutting its own pully

The plug on the side of the Ford utility pickup truck is probably for a block heater colent low sensor 2013 ford fiesta

One item missing, projected/estimated resale value. You mentioned the high mileage - I suspect blue book price may be near or below what you spent on it. This is an educated guess.

In Europe a Ford Escape is called Ford Kuga .
Why do you shy away from blending on gold, silver, white pearl colors? No no basecoat on underside of hood? It seems the extra time/cost would be minimal compared to final result/quality repair????

Yeah he said there's no way to match that paint up. Sometimes on camera makes it look worse than it does in person. They will most likely blend to the doors so it doesn't look as bad.
Why does that side panel still look scuffed. I guess it just the light that front bumper dhouls be repainted along with under hood.

Not hardly. Especially if the title is branded as "Rebuild" or "Salvage". Most likely close to 9k or 10k depending on mileage and overall condition of interior.

.....with the new paint on these new vehicles, it's very hard to get it to match... especially on metal flake colors.

You do very nice videos. One thing you do not say which is very misleading is that these are dealer only cars and not available to the public to buy. The only cars available to the public are the ones that have the front and back bumpers touching each other and the roof on the ground. You need to say if the car is a dealer only or a public car. You pay for a membership, and you do not have access to all the cars.

I am body man by trade ford has allways been none for bad color match blinding paint would have look better but i understand more labor eats into profit there not making much on it having rebuilt title were i live you would have to sell for half price 7500 would be good deal for someone for collage kid

Your content has gone down. It’s not the same. Quick builds with just making video no quality in work. I know these are salvage cars who cares how the color or other things turn out as long as video is out for everyone. I have been a long time viewer but lately not enjoying the videos. I don’t feel like your guys heart is in making good, quality video.
