  • This video is my review and demonstration of the "JJ Heart JJC-HRTKIT/PPK" 3/4 Girls acoustic guitar, made by "Jay Turser". Suitable for girls, beginners and ladies who find full size guitars too large for their hand size and reach. This is a nice sounding guitar (once set up correctly) and is a decent quality guitar for the price. However, like most budget to medium priced steel string acoustic guitar, this guitar needs "setting up" to make it playable, ie the action needs lowering and the truss-rod needs incremental adjustment. The guitar will need setting up for playing and I have provided a link to how I adjusted and set up this guitar. Safety first, you should wear safety glasses when changing strings and don't carry out repairs unless you are 21 or over and confident with crafting tools. If you do not feel confident about setting this up yourself, you need to take into a guitar repair shop to have professionally set up, but shop around for quotes. Link: • Setting Up the JJ Hear...

What a nice, crispy but warm sound.

I just got this from a charity shop for £7 my son is a guitarist,I'm interested in his opinion,I'm 50 and about to learn,I've never played an instrument in my life !! This suits my really short arms and I have ehlers danlos so my fingers can dislocate ,that's why I thought a "girls" guitar would be better for me

Yes. It's not a bad sounding little thing. I don't care about what things look like either - it's what it sounds like that counts! Thanks for your comment, my friend.

Just picked one up at a yard sale with a broken string. Can it be re-strung?

Yes, I would buy a cheap set of acoustic guitar strings from eBay and also make sure you have an allen key to adjust the truss rod and you might need to take the saddle out and sand underneath it a couple of millimeters to lower the action. A good find, and I wish you well.
