- Join Shawn & Charlotte as we return to Blackpool Pleasure Beach for yet another late night riding and fireworks event. In this vlog we also check out the many changes at the park since our previous visit including a brand new soundtrack for The Big One. Along with sharing highlights from this new music playing around the queue-line, we also share our thoughts on the new audio.
As Blackpool Pleasure Beach prepares for a huge Halloween event, we share all of the details we know so far about Journey To Hell - Freak Nights, a new event coming to the park this October. Along with that there's a variety of on and off ride footage from all across the park, highlights from the spectacular fireworks display and much more as we enjoy a relaxing day in the sunshine at our favourite UK park!

Awee what a great day, was fun dancing and speaking of Valhalla, it broke down on me 3 times, once at the bottom of the second lift hill then a boat bumped into us, then we stopped on the lift hill, and then at the top of the drop was crazy
That tends to happen alot unfortunately!

Trevor Random I would do it but I would have a crippling headache and a few chiropractor visits for my god forbid back after that.

Amazing how Alton towers have 4 house by the entrance and they complain, but then blackpool have about 1000 house all around it and don’t get as many complaints?

Theme Park Worldwide it’s an honour I went to the park Thursday when I could of done Saturday but ya same don’t wait long for Valhalla I waited an hour music turns on most effects weren’t working except for the last ring of fire 6:50 ended 7:04 best time was meeting Shaun and Charlotte at Blackpool once but ya Alton towers vlog was brill

IronAgent it is rough...
grand national is bad in the back seat but brilliant in the second from back seat. Only coaster there to really cause me pain was the big one though.

It's lovely to see you and the beautiful Charlotte. I'm so glad that you and Charlotte got away on your own. It's been a long time since I visited Blackpool and it looks so modern now. You will have to visit when the tide is out so Charlotte can dig on the beach...............lol. Keep making the great vlogs. Chriss X

I went there Monday & left disappointed because wasn't able to do all the main rides & we were there for opening! I know some people pay for speedpass but I've gone to the pleasure beach for years & it was easier to do all the rides when it was a book of tickets & it was open till late! You would think 11am - 5pm would be ample time to do all the rides but it's not in its current state! Could easily do everything in half the time years ago!
You can blame Shawn! ... the park is now getting really popular thanks to people like him and other vloggers showing what good fun it is to thousands of viewers who otherwise wouldn't have heard of it, or considered making the effort to go there.
That does mean that it is now a victim of its own success - which can risk disappointing people during peak times.
It's heading towards being a "two day" park - which is a shame, but hopefully the extra cash will be invested in maintaining the rides - especially the classics. And they should make night-time opening happen every night in the summer. That would relieve the kind of crowd pressure shown in this video.
I also want to see Nickolodean Streak get a new set of block brakes at the end of the track - so that it can run 2 trains and half the waiting time (like Icon - which is an amazingly quick queue considering its popularity) - these are the sort of things I would do if this happened in RollerCoaster Tycoon and I had loads of cash!

I was there that evening and to say the atmosphere was electrifying would be an understatement. Not seen the Pleasure Beach as good as it was on this day for a fair few years now!

When you talk about coaster music, you reminded me of something I did some years ago. I took several Batman themes and edited them into a single track that syncs perfectly to the Batman SLC ride at Magic Mountain. I wanted to design the electronic circuitry for an on-ride sound experience (I’m an engineer), but I was never able to pitch it to Six Flags.. such a shame, because the music track was pretty good.
Oh well, back to my day job, designing casino games. Not as fun as your day job 😀

Not been to the Pleasure Beach in ages. Really must try and get up there again before the season ends. Some really great, classic rides there.
The big one new sound track at the beginning sounds a bit like bring me the horizon lol. I was at Blackpool pleasure beach a couple of weeks ago I brought my kids along this time and they loved it unfortunately I couldn't go on the big rides my hotel bed put my back out it was so uncomfortable but my kids had a great time so that made me happy awesome vlog dude thanks a bunch 😁😁😁😁😁😁😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

How long are the waits in the summer Shawn? We've gone on what we thought were quieter days before the full summer season but ended up waiting an hour just for Nickelodeon streak
It can get busy but the waits don’t usually get to long!
Was their last week, went straight on icon!!!! Smoothest and most comfortable ride ever oh and the air time

Great video and Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a pretty park with a lot of nice looking rides, I would love to ride that Steeple Chase or whatever it's called looks like so much fun. If I visit the UK This place is definitely on the list to go to. Really nice fireworks as well. Nice to see Charlotte in your video for the first time too!

Every time I go to a theme park in the Uk it is literally a day before or after you are there. I was at Pleasure beach two days ago. I'm hoping I will bump into you one day at a UK theme park :)

Hey Shawn I just came back from Blackpool today it was AMAZING! I didn’t go on most of the rides though I was a bit afraid of some of them but the only roller coster I have ever been on in many times at Blackpool was blue flyer it was amazing
I was there 2 weeks ago so much fun and would highly recommend
