@@bloodyoneiric9641 12 foot ninja is better than most djent bands. Every djent band has some cliche melodic tapping or slow ambient riff while the other 8 string chugs on 1 and 0. These guys got innovative and created a wholw style
Fucking awesome!!! This band is a breath of fresh air in metal! Which is stuck with the same production approaches and been stale for at least 10 years imo. These guys are pure genius!
DimeStuff that's what was said about faith no more when they hit, it was pure genius and still are, but this band is great no doubt, hope San Diego, ca is in their plans when they tour, funny Metallica carried FTM on there tour, they got booed off stage til they played warpigs
Not sure what you mean about stagnant production approaches, there's plenty of unique metal out there, it only takes a little curiousity and some time on Spotify or bandcamp
Without any walls around there's nothing for the sound to bounce off and to turn it to mush. If wind noise can be avoided, outside is the best place for sound.
Yes it does...It could've sounded much better with one in the mix... If it has percussion, then it should have a Bass to fill out the lower frequencies.
aaaaah, this interviewer. Well played guys for keeping it cool - I would've lost it and just cracked up laughing the whole time. Love this recording btw. Umm.. yeah.. so umm.. yeah... cheers guys
TFN is terribly underrated. I fucking love them so much I will never get sick of anything they've made. It is timeless. Want nothing more than for them to continue making music.
It's the fewest of few case when I like a singers voice that much , that I am really listing to him. The whole band is total madness , great musicians !
Saw (and heard) this one a year ago. I still listen to it all the time... What a band and what an performance. Saw them live, when they were at Finland. Shaked hands with the singer and changed a few words with him. This band (still) needs more recognition, though they are on the rise, I believe. Fantastic stuff! P.S. Also, shame for the host... That could have gone better! ;D
The more I listen to TFN the more I notice that Kin sounds like Mike Patton. It wasn't so obvious in their heavier songs, but after listening to "Shuriken" or "Point of You" I finally can hear heavy MP influence
I love how the bassist is just like "well umm i don't have an acoustic bass so ill just ummm... shake this egg. yep thats right"
It's a jumping off point!
His end solo was so dense and avant garde really boundary pushing for modern metal hand percussion
+mutube15 well that's the job desc for bass player in acoustic session.
To be fair, the Shaker provides an ambience that the bass guitar wouldn't of at the time for the song. So, most enjoyable none the less!
Yeah, it's making you be busy
This band is a hidden gem.
Actually they're overrated in the djent community.

You are absolutely correct.
I would buy an acoustic album if they made one!!
DrummerDave1001
fuck ye
got another 3 acoustic tracks on youtube
As would I I love these guys
It’s being recorded as we speak!
@@lewisperry9014 is it true :(
@@Trishkaz The guitar player with the hat on (Rohan Hayes) has a youtube channel, and he's uploaded a bunch of awesome acoustic stuff.
One of the best modern rock bands out there. Simply amazing musicians.
Twisted_clown334 I second that notion...metal
Ignus Fast thought they were progressive metal. Fuck it, whatever they are their music is fucking amazing
E L S E W H E R E ninja metal mate

Truly one of the best progressive metal bands imho. But I guess they've been busy aren't they?
Busy as a cat burying shit in concrete mate :)
I think every video at their channel must contain at least one comment about their "business" =)
They haven't been busy at all! Bit of watching the grass grow! Watching the paint dry, have they?!?!
haha, love how this became what "Primus Sucks" is for Primus. That bit about being busy is pure gold. Great band.
Busy as a one legged man in an ass kicking contest
#1 favorite band ever. Love these guys.
Looks like they've been busy though.
Naap. Naap. Naap. They haven't been busy, they haven't been busy at all!

Outlier was one of the best albums of 2016, and it went waaay under the radar. It was fucking stellar. My favorite work from the boys by far!
These guys are so talented.
great audio mix for being outside!

Ougerson Dwoorv huh, never knew that, thanks for the tid bit of info mate!
Amazing talent. Kin is Pattons long lost brother.
Interviewer's having a hella hard time spitting out words though lol.
Mate have you been busy?
Bassist : ive been busier than a bassist playing a shaker at a acoustic performance
Someone's been busy...
Busier than a cat
Busier than drummer trying to wipe his arse through a box.
@@joshminder4429 that's gold
@@user-ts2ny8jg9d I've seen that happen. I was holding the box.
This song is fucking gold acoustic. I can't get enough of that beginning melody and that beautiful solo toward the end.
Can you relate to deliciousness you feel when tasting an exquisite dish or desert? Well, this guys did that to my ears...
who is this host? luckily its a lighthearted interview, the host got a solid 3/10
I love their acoustic versions! Thanks for the upload
Damon's bass is not quite busy!
QUITE BUSY!
HES BEEN WATCHING THE BLOODY GRASS GROW
I borrowed it... give it back? That would be like hand over Mona Lisa!?
Busier than a cat
But he shakes an egg - that's almost as busy as a cat can be!
Yanks LOVE Twelve Foot Ninja! Killing it again and again.
The best part of these guys is they play their asses off but don't take themselves seriously
I hear Mike Patton in this guys voice!
Damon's pretty awesome at the egg shaker lol
interviewer-what ya say we wrap this up.
singer-ya I've been thinkin about it lmfao
Albeit the interviewer is horrendous - this recording sounds great and I've listened to it countless times. Love it.
Goddamn, I love this band.
Nick's voice sounds great in this point
Why this band is headlining festivals in the U.K. or a worldwide phenomenon I’ll never understand! Great band!
Cant believe they are done... So sad.. they are without a doubt the most interesting, versatile and musical metal band ive ever heard
damn..this could have been a special bonus track. would've paid extra for this especially if they did a handful of the songs played like this.
have you checked out their other acoustic stuff yet?
I heard the coming for you one. pretty good!
Unbelievable. Their songs are amazing enough as it is, but stripped down they show how amazing they truly are. Been busy, mate?
Ive seen this soooo many times and can't get enough of i5
Seriously, get that bassist an acoustic bass. I'm sure he can fit it into the mix
Phreaking Phaggit Someone's gotta shake the egg... right?
Juanico Da Costa what did you just call me
nah the eggshake is sick
is an acoustic versiòn man , don't need bass =P
Yes it does...It could've sounded much better with one in the mix...
If it has percussion, then it should have a Bass to fill out the lower frequencies.
I wouldn't eat that biscuit.
Ivory Raven wouldn't risk it?
Mmmmmmmmmmm biscuits!
Hallo little koala feet!
The title... it grabbed me.

This might sound weird but I always find it refreshing to see a metal band that is not covered with tattoos.
These guys are gonna blow up in 2021 go worldwide ninja !!!
This singer is the Mike Patton of the XXI cetnury
Acoustic version of Outlier, Smoke Bomb, all of em, please!
A little piece of Stevic dies every time he's not playing his Variax
