you ever actually listened to metal in a gym? if not you should try it....its really motivating, try the Doom / Doom Eternal soundtracks
After doing "We got the moves" and "Pump it" you HAVE to complete the holy trinity now and also do "Hypa Hypa"!!

MC THUNDER! MC Thunder II!
I would also add Hate/Love
Not because it is part of this style of song, but because it is another style that I really liked from them.
The whole Hypa Hypa EP.
The Drummer running on the treadmill and drumming at the same time KILLS ME. Gold. I love this band.
Him hitting the cymbal that doesnt exist always gets me
reminds me of Flake of Rammstein in Ich Tu Der Wir
That drummer is a GENIUS commedian. Watch him in We Got The Moves. Dude kills me every time.
The drummer always cracks me up in all of their videos, he's too funny.
For real. David gets like seven seconds in each video and he absolutely kills it lol
In next music videos we demand more David!! 🤩😁
More of him! My favourite part of the video.
He's so funny
He also won the German Bachelorette. Total stud
"This is a ridiculous combination of soo many really good things".
This statement perfectly describes Electric Callboy 🤘💪👍
I really hope they get accepted as the Eurovision Song Contest entry for Germany with this. That would just be beyond awesome :D
Edit: +1 to all the recommendations for the acoustic version they just released. Just a great showcase of how well Nico and Kevin harmonize.
thats probably the reason why they took down some older songs and why they are about to change their band name. with them at ESC its not only their own reputation anymore. and both halves of the band's name are anything but politically correct. :D

Oh so sweet phrasing

Yeah, that's how Metal works! :D
Exactly. That's what I thought. Harsh vocals touch that little berzerker inside each of us.
100 she's starting to get it
Metal does not go against you. It takes you with it.
I saw them live last month in a metal festival, I'd heard about them but never listened to their music, they jumped in the stage in that clothes, imagine my face when they started to play... One most fun and energizing shows I've ever seen.

How does this have 700+ likes in such a short time, and no comments? (except for me now)
@@natterdag4949 very weird logic🤨 people just voting for the song and they don't have to comment it
This comment has a lot of "Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra" vibe going.
Sokath, his eyes open.
According to Eskimo Callboy the song was inspired by fan comments saying that they listen to them while working out! So making a working out song worked!
The talcum powder dust cloud from the hand shake at 0:31 kills me, and things only go up from there... 😂 Your genuine joy while noticing and identifying all the madness is just too good. Slightly belated Happy New Year from Germany! 🙂
The clips scenarios are the product of an evil genius.
Say it with me: S-I-M-P!
1:16 "This is a ridiculous combination of so many really good things" ... what a great description of this song :D
Also, great reaction/commentary to the song, thank you :)
Greetings from germany
When you're done with this, EC just released an acoustic version of this and their ......well just watch it!
I saw it a few days ago, nicely done 👍
We need a reaction to that!
I watched it a few days ago and I was impressed.

Yes! "Hypa Hypa" is next on the Eskimo Callboy list!
Also for another band to experience, one of my personal favorites: AMARANTHE. A Swedish group with 3 different vocalist! Their style is kind of electro-pop metal core and (especially their early stuff) they pull it off really well. If you do check them out, a couple of good ones are "Nexus" and "Invincible."
Yeah, anything off the first two albums is great. Amaranthe (the song) is one of my favourite songs.
thx man, just checked out amaranthe and they are amazing, great recommendation
Elizabeth is really starting to dig those beatdown breakdowns 😂
In the 90s, when I was a kid, a lot of these workout videos still seemed stuck in the 80s. This video captures that very well.
I normally don't care for "sillier" music but I discoverd Eskimo Callboy on Spotify a few weeks ago and I've been OBSESSED! Pump It and We've Got the Moves are so good! And their harsh vocalist reminds me a lot of Andy (Amaranthe's original harsh vocalist). The music is a lot of fun working out and with video games!
Same happened after Hypa Hypa, but those 3 songs (WGTM, HH and Pump it) are the only ones that have this sound. The rest of the stuff is not bad at all, just doesn't hit the same way.
I think it is because the silly doesnt take away from how good and catchy it is.
hate/love is a great song also
They are pretty similar! And Andy was so much better than Henrik!
It's strange: they started out as a regular "serious" band. But not many took them seriously... so they made their one-time-gimmick their sale point.
you have to see this live - version: PUMP IT live at Circle Studios Berlin
you can easy see how much she loves the beginning of the song by the many times she restarts the song
The acoustic version is magical, and the behind the scenes video shows the making of the weight plate guitar. 😊
Elizabeth, I am so thankful for your channel. I subscribed over a year ago. It was just before Veterans Day. My marriage ended just before the pandemic. A very tough year. I am a Veteran with PTSD and during that time began having panic attacks as I sometime have around Veterans Day. I was in a very dark place. I found your channel accidently looking for the sound of silence by Disturbed. Your passion for music is infectious and your facial expressions of true bliss when beautiful music caresses your soul. This helped me connect with my heart and shined a light in the darkness. I listened to every available video and continue to view every week. I love that you appreciate Nightwish and Sabaton as I have seen them in concert and briefly met Tuomos. I have a huge request for you to review one of my favorite songs about the sacrifice of soldiers and their loved ones. The band is called Xandria from Germany. The song is A thousand letters. The lyrics are the most emotional accurate and haunting of any song themed like this. Thank you so much!
The transformation is almost complete. Let the darkness grow! 🤣 I’ve been watching your videos for over a year (I think I started with “Pisces”) and it has been so nice seeing you grow and enjoy more metal because your laugh is so heartwarming.
Yeah! You finally got to the point where you percive harsh Vocals as (emotionally) appealing/affirming/empowering. :D I, as I began to listen to metal music, also had my difficultys by feeling uneasy hearing growling/screaming untill I listened to Eluveiti, where you can relate the screaming to the idea of a celtic warrior describing those intense experiences, wich Made me feel strenghened by the Vocals, not intimidated.
Also the lyrics during that part when she said that we're also really appealing to the ears, they made sense, good melody, and in your face
Harsh or distorted vocals (for lack of a better word) still require vocal talent and perhaps even more skill than clean singing (an apples and oranges debate). It may not sound "pleasant", but neither does an animal's roar.
I think the happy synths at the front of the song gets the blood flowing and wakes your brain up, and then when it hears the harsh vocals it ends up pushing out the adrenaline mixed with those other chemicals and its like a turbo boost. Its one of my fav things about digital hardcore/trancecore whatever you want to call it. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas nails this feeling in 90% of their songs
I used to love I See Stars for the same reason…not quite as fun but definitely had that balance!
I personally have that feeling as well with Enter Shikari.
Yes, FALILV are masters of transitioning.
I love that they're so obviously having fun in each video. So good!
I love that you are musically trained, innocent and proper but still have fun, explore with an open mind and pick out the talent of anything you listen to without picking on what they are achieving ;)
There are times that I think she's NOT so innocent - she says things that are... risque? ... but with a straight face. She's too smart not to know what she's saying! AH, the mystery that is Elizabeth, eh?
@@JengiX oh yeah, I can tell but portrays 😉🤣

Elizabeth just back from her workout and right into doing a reaction video about workouts, what a woman!
with the cleans you want to comfortably run a marathon, and then the harsh vocals come in and you suddenly feel the urge to train muscles to fistfight a volcano. whereafter you go back to something durability again like bicycling for the cleans.
's the vibe i get
This is the best reaction to this song I've ever seen!
I love this band, I love this channel and I love this woman who makes it all amazing! thank you Elizabeth!
Just can't get enough of this. Takes me back to the '80's madness!
Love the headband, dear Elizabeth! I can’t wait to see the faces you’re going to make on this one! Lololol Happy New Year too! ❤️ Jen
I swear! watching each of your videos gives me years of life! I love your vibe and your being! you're great! and your ability to see all the visual and sound details are amazing! Thank you very much for existing and being one of my favorite youtubers!
I love EC and have for years, it's so heartwarming to see yourself love the band and their energy 💕 very glad I found your channel!
There’s a salsa drummer who actually put triggers into the heels of his shoes to give a digital bass drum to his kit, so he can dance while playing and use the heels of his shoes to give a kick through the PA.
Unfortunately I can’t remember his name, but I do remember reading about him in Modern Drummer some years ago.
Oooh that's gotta be so much easier on the ankle s
Hi Elizabeth, this is my first time listening to this song, and I absolutely loved the hilarious performance. Eskimo Callboy is a fun and catchy band with great songwriting, and I've never heard a band mix metal and pop music so well together, but it works. I also laughed when the drummer was running in place. Thank you, Elizabeth!!! 💙
you might want to take a look at "Rock Sugar", they mix 80s pop with metal classics, like "Don't stop the Sandman".
Their main singer is also a voice actor, so some of their old stuff sounds like the original singers, but they had to stop that, because he was so good, that someone made a copyright claim, as he couldn't distinguish between his own voice and the Rock Sugar singer.
@@caligo7918 Thanks, I'll check that out.
Amaranthe called, they want their genre back ;)
I literally just came home from a workout blasting this song a number of times. Always gets me pumped!
It's just a fun, well put together song and video. They just bring so much joy to the fans lately. It's a great combination. Thanks for doing this reaction.
You’re so goofy and yet so knowledgeable about everything and the metal heads are trying to induct you into the community….this channel is subtly wild and I love it
Olivia Newton-John's Physical video just called - it wants its look back! (Trust me, ONJ was my FIRST woman-crush/favorite singer in that time frame. Yes, I was 7 years old!)
I think we have a new possibility for Elizabeth's next all-vocal cover . . . 😍 😍 😍
Totally! I love these guys & am a huge fan! It's nice to see a vocal coach who addresses a lot of high-concept music who finds value in this band!
Thanks Elizabeth for the analysis since it does enrich the song so much. And I like their mixture of diffrent music styles they fit so well.
The most impressive thing about the end shot, is that you can clearly see a huge chunk of debris land right into his eye before rolling off and he just briefly flinches but keeps his eye open after that lol
this reminds me a lot of "koi no mega lover" by maximum the hormone - another really good mix of pop- type of party music and hard vocals, just in japanese :D
Maximum the Hormone are amazing! I'd love to a reaction to "Koi no Mega Lover."
They are making solid gold. A burst of fresh air
This is pure joy. I just can’t get enough of this song!!
I love it when Elizabeth gives her inner geek free reign. 😁
The Live at Circle Studios Berlin version of this song is a delight, as is the Velvet Remix. Both are stripped back versions, though the Velvet Remix is as the name suggests, smooooooth while still retaining some 80's vibes in the background. Though in regards to the Circle Studios video, it's a bit weird seeing them with normal hair.
I love that you keep starting it over....because it ssooooooo good!!
Just barely into this video & realizing this is definitely the vibe I need today!
These guys never stop amazing me. They are so much fun! You MUST check out the video they just released of them doing this Live Acoustic!!! It's sooo good and totally different. They are truly talented!
I can't wait for this. I love, love this band. You should do COMING FOR YOU by TWELVE FOOT NINJA. Another great genre jumping band.
I enjoy your personality so thoroughly! Your such a joy to listen to and especially within the limitless bounds of your experiences
you speak to me from the soul! this is really a wonderful example. an in-depth review! and you are right. i have been practicing yoga since 1973
Definitely check out the acoustic performance they just released of this song. It really shows how good their voices are.
This reminds me of that movie with Jaymie Lee Curtis and John Travolta. The guitar was made for "heavy" metal 😁(Dad joke)

Oh, it had to be! Fabulous! Elizabeth, yours are easily, by orders of magnitude, the most entertaining and yes, informative react vids there are. Always a delight to watch - many thanks for continuing doing what you do! And belated congrats for your 'condition'!
Omg I just found this song and I loved it and I just saw you reacted to it and I'm so excited!!!!
"Hans & Franz" AND "Zombie Run" mentioned in one video ? I'm sure those are both widely known, but i really felt like this video spoke to me. Thanks for making me smile ! Really enjoyed this one :)
This song is honestly one of the only songs that does motivate me to work out!
I always love your videos. They have such calming energy, they make me happy. And the musical break down is wonderful. And I get to here new songs I normally wouldn’t. I’d love you see what you think of Colm McGuinness.
Wonderful 70's vibe! "its hard to let the groceries out", spewed my coffee! Thanks!!!
lmao 🤣😂 can't wait of you're reaction video - they're hillarious
These guys mastered contrast between the genres and bridging from one to another.
As for drumset: I can actually think of a "safe" way of connecting drum kicks to a threadmill - just an accelerometer, drum kicks connected to small motor on the side and a little programing, so every "tap" on the threadmill is translated into one kick (or multiple) 🤣
I found this group bc of you Elizabeth, can't thank you enough 💯.... I've watched the last 3 videos hundreds of time mostly with all the reaction videos and of course their yt channel. 🤘❤️.... The weights are made of wood
Please do pump it acoustic version! It's short, sweet, and clean. Really shows off their versatility and talent, and vocally there is much to love!
You need to watch the acoustic version of this song they posted!
I need this and I cannot wait
i don't think i've ever commented on one of your videos before despite watching for over a year so hi! with the "scary" chromatic section at the end, i think in the context of the song it works as inspiring because rather than it being a scary "i am being chased by a monster" section the lyrics bring it into the area of "i AM the monster and i am doing the chasing" - it brings a level of power and positivity to the music. there are whole sections of hardcore/metalcore that focus on positive messages like standing up for yourself and others, self improvement etc. i'd put this song into that section too because it's so uplifting and, as you mentioned, inspires people to go to the gym or go for a run etc
I love how positive your videos are and you never criticize no matter how rediculous and different. I have allot of respect for you because of this😊
Hey, I just found your channel, and you are quite charismatic indeed. Love how you absorb and process every last "drop" of what you hear and process it musically, technically and emotionally too.
Please react to some Muse, and also Tim Minchin.
