What are your other settings for getting 80+ fps with PT on a 3080? I have a 10gb version and just downloaded the mod. I play at 1440p and want to use PT, but I don't know if I should use DLSS quality, balanced or performance
@@CargoShorts7 its been some time since i played cyberpunk. from what i remember, when i used fsr3 mod, i also used dlss quality and litherally everything in the game maxed out, since the difference in fps was so small that i decided to put everything on ultra/psycho. Tho if you care about fps you may try dlss balanced mode and no psycho settings.

Playing at 4K(DLSS on) with Path-tracing and FG the 3080 can and will run out of VRAM, but luckily there is an easy fix for it just use Medium Textures!
Or use DLSS Performance.

No, bro it would look horrible on a 4K monitor and 4K DLSS performance upscales from 1080p which is not bad, but 1080p balanced is actually 635p render resolution, but it might look good on a 24 inch 1080p screen, but no need for a 3080 u can play at 1440p dlss quality or balanced with Path tracing and FG mod or like I showed in the video at 4K PT DLSS Ultra Perfomance with Medium textures or at 4K normal RT dlss performance with high textures.

is pt so worth it to go ultra perf + med texture? idk if it is that good , also I tried this mod and it feels jittery , like 70 fps with fg is 40 without , its not smooth tbh , I tried it on freesync moniter and normal 4k tv , not very satisfactoy results , what about you?
This is just an FG Mod video u know, I'm not saying anywhere that you should use it in your regular playthrough let alone at 4K I would only use it at 1440p and personally I play CP without any RT let alone PT I need fast frametime and fps over 60 all of the time in a First person shooter!
I use RT only on my 1440p Monitor and PT only in free-roam gameplay on 1440p or 4K(I have both 1440p and 4K monitors) and this FG mod makes it more viable. It's only a frame-smoothing technology not performance-boosting technology.
Is DLSS balanced or performance worth using at 1440p with the FSR 3 frame gen mod on a 10gb 3080? I want to play with PT, but I'm not sure which DLSS mode is best
Of course, it's worth 1440p performance is pretty playable if you use sharpening at least 30 it will look ok, but balanced will drop below 60 fps though, but luckily I made a new video yesterday for a PT performance MOD where it will improve performance on 1440p DLSS balanced you can watch it here: czcams.com/video/TbJLUzqwdHQ/video.html
and you don't even need any FSR3 mod cause it will take a lot of VRAM as well and you will run out of VRAM in the Dog Town area with FSR3 mod enabled at 1440p dlss balanced or you can use Medium textures though, but it has a cost on textures fidelity sometimes.
Tried this on cyberpunk using rtx 3080 getting 140+fps fg on but the smoothness is not like i really getting 140+fps. Lol
Are you using any mod for HDR, because it definitely looks you have HDR enabled but this mod do not support HDR currently

Hey, I have 3080 and 5600x. I have this issue where when I turn on Path tracing, it crashes the game. Are you aware of any fix for this?
No, I didn't experience that in CP with FSR3 FG MOD, but I have always crashes when enabling RT(without any Mod) in SW Jedi Survivor though, but this is only a Mod and not official u know, as the author of the Mod says himself, there can be weird artifacts, crashes and it might not even work for everyone.

It's not better(maybe only at 4K) but the 3080 will always run out of VRAM with PT on(FG also takes more VRAM) that's why I had to use Medium Textures in this video for 3080, and the DLSS3 Frame generation works out of the box on 4070 and looks better than FSR3 FG and the 4070 has also 12GB VRAM!

What do you mean? This is a FSR3 Mod not DLSS3 and DLSS3 works only on 40 series.
AMD will release official FSR3 FG for Cyberpunk in near future, but I must say I'm very impressed with this Mod it looks and performs amazing and u can use DLSS and reflex with it which normally isn't the case u can only use FSR upscale combined with FSR3 FG in official releases!

Was this hard to setup? Would you be able to do a tutorial? Guys like this comment if you want Jozada Games to make a quick tutorial on doing the modded FSR for Cyberpunk 2077.
No, it's easy to setup, but the mod file is always updating and what I have installed version 0.41(which was the only one at the time of my recording of the video) there is now new 0.50 or even 0.60 which is little bit different and I believe the author of the mod moved the downloads from github to Nexus mods I will change the link and there I can see is the simple 0.41 version dlssg-to-fsr3-0.41 where u have to only copy paste the two .dll files into your .exe CP folder which will be in cyberpunk 2077 /bin/64 folder and like I said in my pinned comment Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling MUST BE ENABLED in your Windows settings! It's in Windows Settings under System than Display and Graphics Settings and just turn in ON and restart your computer.

Like I said in my pinned comment bro Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling MUST BE ENABLED in your Windows and installation guide is written in the Read Me.txt file which will be in the Mod u download and just copy paste the two .dll files in your CP .exe location folder(I have it on Steam and it's in Cyberpunk 2077/ bin/ 64 folder)
