    Are the setup steps the same with OBS for windows?
    Very informative video! Thank you Sir!

      I would reckon so, since this is within the plugin rather than the OS.

    For any budding channel owners offering tuition videos out there. This has got all the information but this is not the way to teach. There are moments where the instructor just chats, we take stock of what we're looking at (for the first time ever cos we're newbies obviously otherwise we wouldn't be here) but then suddenly he launches into an activity quickly WHILE saying 'we're going to add this' without explaining it beforehand. The viewer has to stop and replay all the time. I'm a teacher and what you do is...say what you're ABOUT to do (but don't do it until you've finished the sentence!), then explain HOW by describing what you're ABOUT to click on (again, wait until you've finished talking) THEN you go ahead and do it. That adds about three seconds to the instruction but it means we can follow the path in real time without replaying it and watching each step twice eg. around 4:16 'this we're gonna call...' (Viewer thinks 'wtf did he click on?' replay it 'oh I see THAT plus icon, not the other plus icon'...ok I get it now).
    The sequence of instructions from about 4:30 onwards is an utter nightmare. I'm grateful for the info but ffs!! Dizzyingly difficult to follow. "er.....er....." (click, click, click)

    why i only see the automatic tool?? second question can this make like a image source be visible when sounds plays and then when it stops it goes back to not visible if yes im gonna be super happy

    • @BillRayDrums
      @BillRayDrums  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Yes, you can make an audio trigger for the sound to switch scenes. I have a separate video detailing that task: czcams.com/video/1RWLrhwPewM/video.html&ab_channel=BillRay

    I’m after something very similar, I have multiple cameras on a horse riding arena that I want to switch to camera with horse on once the camera senses movement with horse on it. When horse moves out of shot to next camera I want it to switch to next camera and so forth. At the moment I can only have the one camera go live, as I don’t know how to configure the macros to do what I want it to do. Any ideas?

    • @BillRayDrums
      @BillRayDrums  Před 5 měsíci +1

      That's a good question! I don't know if there's a way to sense motion by way of something appearing on the camera, and I totally get what you are wanting to accomplish. A nice linear flow as the horse makes its way around the track. That may be a question for the developer over on the Advanced Scene Switcher plugin page. If there's a way to sense motion, there's definitely a way to do it.

      @@birthing4blokes46 I use a stream deck to control individual switching. Look up "elgato stream deck".
