I hope they never attract advertisers but stay just profitable enough to keep all those... people away from us Ngl, i figured it was all fake, but there was a small 6% in my mind thinking Stake would be dumb enough to throw millions and millions into a dictators pocket for a very bland, boring, scripted interview Kick offers creator freedom and because of their complete lack of moderation, it enables the wrong creators.
It has been slightly disappointing seeing some of my friends stream on kick and seeing a side of them i didn't think existed. But that's on me thinking we were actually friends, silly me
Considering Kick's previous reputation (and current lmao), chances of advertisers is pretty slim. If ads don't like swear words on CZcams, they DEFINITELY won't like whatever's on that hellsite
As someone who uses Kick, it's a weird as hell site. They say they have strict regulation on explicit content (look at the first page and there's about 5 women promoting OnlyFans) and also say they're firm on a lot of other things that they don't really stick to. The only reason I stream there is that I've been keeping up with media and news stuff and Twitch seems to be very on the edge of destroying itself constantly (I may be wrong and they've fixed stuff by now) and CZcams isn't tailored to benefit streamers to the degree of Kick or Twitch. Kick was promising mostly because of the pay split in the future but honestly the site is a trainwreck in what it tries to identify itself as. It's hard because I don't see many other options of where to go as Twitch seems unstable, CZcams isn't designed to benefit streamers as well, and the only other option really is to cling to this hell of a site and pray that things turn out okay. (I don't know much about streaming though so I may be dying on a ship I don't need to, but wanted to give an express viewpoint of an actual Kick user)

I like their support of the LGBTQIA+ Community having a Drag Queen, especially one like BiqtchPuddin' on a billboard is a HUGE deal. I also like how they hold their streamers responsible for what's being done and said during stream, for example; calling out bigotry, homophobia and discrimination that takes place.

andrew and tristan were charged but not convicted. the term is “innocent until *proven* guilty” and that means proving it beyond all reasonable doubt. i’ve heard about lots of men being charged for rapes they never committed, ex. brett kavanagh (however it’s spelled) suggesting that someone is wicked based only on accusations is disingenuous and absurd. and i’m not even saying the tates are good people, they got their money by having girls on live webcam shows, i’m saying if there was any evidence for their involvement in something as serious as human sex trafficking and then some they’d have been convicted and jailed. i mean especially if they’re being charged with several counts of multiple serious crimes. if they were being charged for example with murder, rape, kidnapping, and drug smuggling, and for this purpose let’s say they were guilty of these crimes, you’d think that they’d have *some* evidence for one of them at least? but when they turn up with no evidence for any of them.. i dunno seems like a cover up or something. seems shady.

and i’m not even saying the tates are good people, they got their money by having girls on live webcam shows, i’m saying if there was any evidence for their involvement in something as serious as human sex trafficking and then some they’d have been convicted and jailed. i mean especially if they’re being charged with several counts of multiple serious crimes. if they were being charged for example with murder, rape, kidnapping, and drug smuggling, and for this purpose let’s say they were guilty of these crimes, you’d think that they’d have *some* evidence for one of them at least? but when they turn up with no evidence for any of them.. i dunno seems like a cover up or something. seems shady.
