    I use a Harbor Freight chipper at our cabin. It works great. I took the flywheel area apart and sharpened the knives after watching a CZcams video on making it work better. These things have their place around the house if you have trees and bushes. I even use mine to chip up my big pampas grass stems each spring.

    I bought this exact model last year. Mine is starting to shut off randomly as I’m running it and turn back on like it’s a electrical issue or something I’m not sure. It’s still like new and I only used it a few times. Works great other than that. I mainly got it to shred all my tall ornamental grasses when I cut them down every year. I compost so it works out well, I can feed it through the top and basically shoot out straw. It makes quick work of them. When it would turn off I thought maybe it was over heating so I checked my oil and topped it off slightly. Why does it have 2 oil caps? One with a dipstick and one without. Is one for filling and the other for draining?

  • @MuhaloTube

    Converts gasoline and sticks into noise and dust! Nice enough for yard cleanup. Don't think I would want to process tree tops with it.

  • @BGWenterprises
    @BGWenterprises Před 5 měsíci +1

    Probably more work then its worth.
    But you could bag it to dry and sell as fire starting wood.
    .
    But considering how much chips the 22mb makes, it would be far more practical for fire starter material.
    i dont really see it being more then a backyard clean up tool.
