The thing is I rarely saw a test that was even somewhat optimized. Many times it didn’t even seem like they understood how the exotic worked. Sometimes they didn’t even get the full 20 seconds to damage and they only had 14 or they sometimes had a 30% debuff or sometimes wasn’t debuffed for a portion or sometimes had a 15% debuff. Entertaining video but not good to use as any sort of reliable metric.
Very inconsistent testing… some phases you had more time than others to do damage. Then you’re using certain exotics like lucky pants to boost hand cannon damage. Where is the level playing field? If you’re gonna do a damage tests and get accurate numbers then the factors should be the same. 🤨
Every time someone uses Hierarchy of Needs in a primary ammo dps video, they all commit the cardinal sin of sitting 40+ meters away and hip firing. The Guidance Ring DEPLOYS on hip fire, but builds stacks on ANY crit, so aiming down sights through a ring significantly improves dps by dealing crit damage and reducing the effects of flinch throwing off your aim. It also prevents situations where the ring disappears due to not a single person hitting crits.

I hate to break it to you guys because it seems like this took a while to do but this was… really inaccurate. On so many weapons you guys were heavily unoptimized and not using them correctly so the point of showing what primaries are doing more damage compared to others is ruined
no need to worry, because if you're actually retarded enough to think that using your exotic primary is a good source of damage against the boss then I'm sure that anything you put up will be completely ignorable anyways. Seriously tho how fucking braindead do you have to be to think that "oh man its the final boss which primary weapon would be best to use against him for damage." Who gives a shit if its unoptimized, any run with you in it clearly does not prioritize optimization.
As an avid user of final warning. You were using it wrong. Charge up till the red sqaure appears then spam fire for most of the mag reload and repeat for optimal damage.
Malfeasance lucky pants being as good as it is is so weird to me because you'd think bungie would want other classes to at least have something comparable with a different weapon type. I play hunter and my damage is always so much higher than my friends which is annoying.

Malf is the way to go with another weapon. I get top damage everytime with it. going to almost 7 mil at the end. Once malf and lucky pants extra damage is gone reload and take out heavy. at first I used retrofit but started using the new linear fusion instead and its great if not being flinched

was everyone using the same gun? and also why would you use lucky pants for the hand cannons? that scews the damage.
A tip for using ace with lucky pants: summon your ghost will activate the lucky pants perk and also keeps the empowered bullets as well

We did that and it did less damage because it did not go for his crit and when we did it this way it did more

hunters are glass cannons, meant for dps. other classes can deal more damage than us tho, with healing going off
