That water looks amazing, another great video mate 👍
Cheers, yeh finally some good weather overnight.
Yeah the weather, with your job can be a pain arse but it still looks like you got your quota 👍. A question where can I get the information I need to book your charter out of Exmouth when it’s in season?
Merry Christmas Adam have a good one
See you next time looking forward to it 👍
Cheers
Well done Adam and Brock great effort and great video last time I said it would be good when you 500kg you guys double that fantastic the talking and back ground music was great and it looked like you had a drone in the air at times you blokes need a bigger Esky 😊
Cheers, yep bigger/more esky on the way.
Looks too much like fun to call it work 😂😂
Yeh, buggered after, but still enjoy every minute of it.
Good fishing over here like Slim Dusty
very interesting to watch and nice catch.. just wondering how you avoid sharks from cutting off the main line?
another great vid mate, are all your catches offloaded in exxy?
another great vid
Cheers
awesome Adam
Cheers
Great vid as always
Could you show us how to tie up the droppers and mainlines you’re using 🙏
Not for 25 hooks of course
Just the 3 or so they look cheaper and more efficient than crimping them all up 🤦 but you’re the man
Welcome you’re feedback
Cheers 🍻
Some decent work lights to help capture the night fishing would be great
Yeh will see what I can do. GoPros are pretty useless in low light. Boat is a giant Christmas tree with plenty of light in real life. Cheer for feedback.
Awesome could lights be briter for seeing fish come in

Great fishing I do the same fishing in Puerto Rico I was wandering I saw you using chains for weights I never thought of that do they snag less ? We usually used a peace of rebar but it gets snag a lot and loses to much gear
The bottom we fish is not real snaggy no matter what we use, but I assume the chain is better for it, but mainly use it because we have plenty from old anchor chains and its simple and easy to use.
When I was commercial fishing once the lines up we just ripped it all in walking along the side then dehooked and rebaited all at once saves fish hanging there
That tangle gives me anxiety
Yeh all part of it.
Great video mate. Got a question do you freeze the fish whole and not gut them? Is this better for freezing?
Fish are kept fresh on ice until they get to where the are filleted or sold. Not gutted too avid flesh getting contaminated.
What happens if the tax man moves in on a string, bye bye ? 15:34 Answered my question lol, deckey gets spiked, ya good ? did it break off...yeah nah ! how many times has that happened..when all i can see is bubbles..happy days
Yeh not too often, work hard to avid it but it dose happen.
ha good fishing 🇦🇺👍👍 what the amount for a commercial license for catching the fish for the market please 👍if you're chasing Alveys there 6 on gumtree,
Here ya go... fixed your typos on the introduction! Definitely not a criticism - you're obviously better than me at fishing (and making videos). haha. First 4 sentences are perfect :) Good video!
We fish commercially so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy our seafood resource. We accept and agree that many commercial fisheries are not managed well; but ours is. Sustainable wild-caught seafood has its place in an environmentally balance future.
Yeh cheers for that. The Engalish is not my strong point. Bloody checked not 10 times over and still stuffed it up. Thanks.
Love the voice over mate get vid
Cheers
Hi Adam
Just thought I’d ask what frequency and brand transducer are you running? Seems to be giving a very good picture. Cheers Trent
38kHz low frequency (38B-15HR) and a 1kw multi frequency chirp transducer for the high (SS175). The high frequency docent really have the power for 120 ish + but is still good up to that. Low frequency is amazing, have marked fish out past 1000m. Both surface mounted in bottom of keel.
@@SeaforceCoralBay yeah I thought it must’ve been a 38 or a 28 by the way it was reading. I’ve just put a wasp System in our boat hoping it will read pretty well in 200 to 300 m.
Hey mate have you ever considered getting your reels motorised?
Yeh hopefully have a couple next season, but just not in the budget for our first one.
love the winches you are using . what are they called and how can i git two of them for my boatplease thanks . abbida
Hi. They are Alvey ReefQueens. As far as I know I got the last 2 Alvey had new in stock, and still waiting to find out when or if they are making more. Few around second hand though.
Longline Charter's?
Yeh I know that's what our groups will want after seeing this. But the rec rules are there for a reason.
Nice one. With so much care taken, wondering why bleeding the fish doesn't happen? Cheers
For most demersal species bleeding is not required to maintain best quality. The spiking causes all the blood to be drawn from flesh into spine and organs, while preventing build up of any acids in flesh. Some fish such as pelagics are best bled, but with these fish it has no real effect. This is my number 1 question, so do plan to do a video explaining this and comparing bled and spiked fish.
@@SeaforceCoralBay Cheers mate, I have brain spiked for many years also. I bleed them but I'm not doing your numbers as a rec fisho
How is it that a rec fisherman has to bust arse to get one fish in when it’s a high chance of getting sharked but you seem to be able to leave a string of fish down and winched up without seeming like you get too much hassle ? I would have thought you would get majority half fish !
We do get hammered sometimes, but just move strait away. Over 10 years charter fishing the area so have worked out what to avoid and when. Most of what we fish is either new or only fished once a season at the most, so that helps.
Hi Skipper what transducer are you running?😊
38kHz low frequency (38B-15HR) and a 1kw multi frequency for the high (SS175), mounted in the keel. Can see install here czcams.com/video/goRcI9ygI4I/video.html
great job guys what is the make of that boat
Hey, its a Westcoaster 47, one of the first ever Aluminium ones built, In Fremantle WA, in 84.
Your hands must be rooted after a trip?
Yeh they cop a hammering, but they get used to it fairly quickly.
hey mate how often do you get sharked?
Sometimes heaps, sometimes not at all. the gear we use will hook and pull all but the biggest ones to the surface, so that stops them taking fish.
What kind of reels are those, curious?
Alvey Reef Queens. Use the reef masters for charters, but these reef queens are just that bit bigger.
Hi, I am from Germany, and am looking forward to a trip to Australia. I want to see some of the country but also go fishing. Isotherm a possible way that I can get out with you, and help you one ore two days on your boat? I would also pay for the experience
Cheers, yes most of the year we run normal fishing charters, have a look at our website for details and booking. www.seaforcecharters.com.au
How is the main line knots done to stop hook leaders slipping down ?
Essentially just a double granny (looped twice).
who is the market for the Rubys for? I have never seen them in a fish mongers in Perth or do they sell under a different name.
Definitely sold as Ruby Snapper. Not quite as popular as many of the other species so no quite the demand, but still very good.
@@SeaforceCoralBay I've only had Rubys once, Exmouth caught, I rate them above anything else I have had, KG's would be a close second, both fish that are seldom seen in fish mongers, it seems as if the generic "snapper" is all that is sold
Flametail or flameys
would also love to see the process for anchoring in deep water, not something you see every day!!
Also interested. I know smaller baits people attached a bouy to it and as they drive the bouy goes down and floats up the anchor then pull the rope in by hand
Does not bleeding them affect the price?
Hey, no spiking only is the accepted method by buyers in this market.
how do you do this kind of rig?
Well still refining ours, but will do a vid showing it all one day soon.
I notice you dont seem to bleed your fish. Is there a reason for this ?
Hey, yes. We only spike our fish which is preferred by the buyers. It causes all the blood to contract into gut and spine so fillet is clean and stops acids building up in flesh witch reduces the quality.
how come you dont bleed them?
For most demersal species bleeding is not required to maintain best quality. The spiking causes all the blood to be drawn from flesh into spine and organs, while preventing build up of any acids in flesh.
