I bet if these guys went back to their hometown dressed like they are without socks and their pants rolled up (Link) they'd get laughed out of town. Guys without socks and rolled up pants scream non-heterosexual to me. It's just a look that I grew up with and now it's being repeated by straight guys.
No one is coming up with new styles, the old ones are just being repeated full circle. Just like tie dye, I grew up with that in the 70's and it came back in 80's and 90's. Stove pipe pants were popular in the 60's, 70's and now they're called straight leg. I guess I'd just like to see something new.
