I feel like I rely too much on Rifle 2.
I would really like to use my Virt, as thematically it is one of my favorites with GS and d/sw, but my skill level is just not up there yet to survive with it.
Have you tried blood condi reaper build with pistol/torch? I would love to see some good reaper build vids.
gs and dagger is literally zero survivability, so i don't think its necessarily a skill issue, maybe use a sword and shield to allow you to even be skillful enough to survive@@Cimarb

Well, now that you're suggesting it. Maybe a warrior with sword/shield + gs? I used to run it back in the day and want to try it again, see how it would perform. But maybe you could give it a go too?

Ive really like sword/shield power virt because it kind of feels like warrior without the outdated design elements
Music and the high-tempo commentary makes this immensely more fun than before! Also the build looks very fun and exciting. Didn't know I could like a mesmer build (Willbender main here.)

Since I'm relatively new to GW2 and pvp in it, I like when your commentary lines up with the actions I'm seeing. Even better if you can replay it a tad slower so you don't have to rush too hard through the explanation. - Great content, though. I've learned a lot from your videos!

0:45 these catalysts are quite something. look how long this ele player survived against Vallun, with a very basic WvW rank. sure, it could have been a twink acc but for any solo player to put up a fight against Vallun for that long is already an achievement

hard to say, id say chrono is my favorite, but mirage is stronger, virtuoso is simpler and easier

Silly question, tho, what trait makes Bladeturn Requiem give you invulnerability?
I probably missed it, but I can't find it.
If it is like the blade storm aoe for thief, it is technically an evade, but lasts so long it seems like invuln - i am not familiar with either skill to be sure tho
@@Cimarb The tooltip doesnt say it has any evade
@@bangomargit so i looked up all the traits that affect it, and “blade turn refrain” grants aegis, but that is the closest i see. I wonder if he thinks it still blocks incoming attacks, but according to the version history that was removed in the June 27, 2023 patch(?)
I hope for mesmers they make dagger available for off-hand so we can have double dagger mesmers. Off-hand dagger giving mesmers access to Phantasmal Assasins sounds like a very nice idea. 👁️👄👁️
Can i also use this power build for PVE solo? Need to take those buggers out faster cause condi just takes too long. I'm dead before i can finish.

Wow, okay I'm returning to this game this Monday and Mesmer actually looks really fun! I hated the old Mesmer because you just sort of stand there. What expansion is this build from?
Virtuoso is the End of Dragons Expac.
You need Secrets of the Obscure for being able to use shield

SOTO expansion really improve virtuoso, dagger/pistol and axe/shield is really awesome
Will this build work if you don't have all accended gear? I only have 1 accent gear and all accended rings accessories and amulet just trying to get the rest of my gear I get marked badly in wvw 😢
it wont work quite as well as other builds since it relies on stats to get its burst damage, it doesnt have sustained damage that much, but it should be fine if you have good awareness of which fights to take
hey man, sorry maybe a bit off topic, im new in gw2 and i wondered if a thief with staff on both bars can somehow be effective in solo wvw?
it can be, its mostly used in zergs but kind of niche, i have a video of that too

Why not use full marauder trinkets to get closer to 100% crit chance with fury?
because unlike pve you dont want to try to get to 100% crit

Having to face enemies to hit shatters sucks.
Unfortunately those fights are againt very weak players and weak builds. Fight ends way sooner if a guardian with infinite boons comes around. Gw2 WvW has a Boon Problem
Always cringing when see double thiefs playing. Imaging playing so bad that u can't solo roam even when playing permastealth DE. This is sad
That Distortion thing that evades but allows to still move/attack/stomp etc needs a nerf. Its way too much with no real downside on that low cooldown
