- You guys! I'm SO happy with how this turned out. This was a project we didn't get to for awhile but I was so glad when we finally did. What a transformation! Our home is slowly coming together and we couldn't be happier! If you want links to anything we bought, let me know. Would love to chat with you all down in the comments!

What a beautiful bear
I love the way your fireplace turned out. I'm about to paint my brick fireplace black as well but the real reason I'm commenting is your fireplace screen. I love that screen, I've been searching the internet for that perfect screen but I haven't come across any that I like. If you don't mind sharing where you got yours from đ
Thank you! The screen was hard to find initially since we wanted a tall one but we are glad we finally did. Hereâs the link! Itâs actually on sale right now too.

Great job, was already thinking about that color, Gunmetal like, thank you for the video.
Yeah, weâve never regretted the color. Goes great with everything. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful!
Thanks for watching!!
Gorgeous â€
So amazing!!
Thank you!!
Awesome work!
Hey thanks!
Hi Hannah. I love your fireplace makeover and want you to do the same way with mine. Can you tell me have you used the fireplace since the makeover burning wood inside? If yes, how is the paint? Is it still ok?
We use the fireplace all the time! Paint still looks brand new :)
Love it ! That mantle looks beautiful.
Thank you! Weâre super happy how the mantle turned out.
Ficou lindo! đâ€
Thank you!!
if I wanted to paint white, can I just use the primer as the color? or should I use an acrylic white paint on top of the primer? very beautiful project!
I wouldn't recommend it since primer isn't designed like a paint and will break down and deteriorate over time if left unpainted. Also, primer should be painted over within a few weeks to make sure it still adheres to paint correctly. Thank you for watching!!
What brand is the spray paint you used to spray inside of fire box/pit? And the name of paint/color for black grey finish?
The brand is "Rust-oleum" and you can see what it looks like at 2:36 and the paint color is "Carbon Copy" by Behr (6:22).
Hi can you tell me what store you purchase the paint from Home Depot or Loweâs? Thereâs so many Behr paint I want to make sure I pick the right can
From Home Depot đ
Would you be willing to share about how much it cost to redo your fireplace? Weâre hoping to do the same!
It was so worth it and has really classed up our living room! After all the supplies, we probably spent about $240. Joel made the mantle from wood that was given to us so that saved us a lot of money. Hope your project goes well. :)
Here's a break down of costs if it helps:
- $5 Cleaning brush
- $14 Multi-tool blade
- $7 Spray paint
- $33 123 primer
- $5 Painting tape
- $3 Tray liners
- $7 Paint brush
- $12 Roller pack
- $35 Gallon of paint
- $23 Mantle brackets
- $15 Concrete screws
- $80 Spark arrestor
Hi! What tool did you use to remove the brick protruding from the fireplace?
Hello! It was a multi tool with a diamond-bit/multi-surface blade :)
What color is that i love it
6:20 Itâs called Carbon Copy by Behr đ
Hi question is the Behr paint matte or shine?
It is their âflat/matteâ finish. đ
Itâs beautiful, whatâs the colour code?
Thank you! I believe itâs PPU25-01. Hereâs the link to the color on their website: www.behr.com/consumer/ColorDetailView/PPU25-01/
What tool did you use to actually cut the bricks?
Itâs a DeWalt brand oscillating multi-tool!
Thanks so much!
What type of saw was that?
A dewalt multi-tool!
The dust is gonna show alot on that color
Itâs been a few years now and Iâve never had to dust (and you canât see any either)! But now that you mention it.. I should probably go dust the fireplace! Haha
