London Fireworks New Years 2016 - 1080p - Opposite London Eye

Amazing recording position with wide angle shot. Fireworks at the London Eye on New Years Eve 2015 into New Years 2016. Taken from Victoria Embankment next to the Thames river, nearly straight opposite the London Eye. Started to queue at Parliament Square about 4:30pm, stood patiently in the rain until the gates opened at 7:00pm, managed to get a viewing position right on the front of the blue zone, behind the crowd barrier. Long wait till midnight while the crowds started to build. Superb experience, the fireworks took up the whole field of view, and the finale, literally blew your hair back with the shockwave. Recorded on Canon 60D with Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lens to get all the fireworks in the shot. Couldn't bring a lens hood or tripod, instead lent on the crowd barrier to get a reasonably stable shot. Now uploaded the un-encoded Full HD source. Enjoy.
