I work in LE and yes, evidence is supposed to go in paper bags, evidence tape used to secure items in the paper bag(s) and cataloged. There were many things in this case that were not done the way it should have been done. Keep up the great work, keeping this in the eyes and ears for justice.

Hi Mr Zowoki I had to watch this four times to pick up on everything to hear that NK smirked at CW made me think that because she was looking at him and Shanan the year before then went to work at the same place as CW did she have some sort of vendetta against Shannon and got CW to do her dirty deeds for her this is all so wrong the investigation being stopped just pathetic unbelievable

I think that Colorado police need better training. They did the same with the Jon Benet Ramsey case and look how that turned out.
I’m sure plastic bags could cause condensation which would definitely cause deterioration of evidence. Especially things like DNA and touch/trace evidence.
The scene should have been treated as a crime scene from the very beginning. It’s the last place a reported missing person was seen alive. You don’t have to be a cop to know that.
They couldn't treat it like a crime Scene from the very beginning you had cops Nicole with her daughter and son.in the house walking around touching stuff. It was a field trip for them. Very sloppy

Zowoki! I’m watching from my hospital bed all the way in Australia 🇦🇺 it’s 5 am here and I went into surgery at 2pm yesterday for a right total knee replacement!
Just woke up in agony & my whole body has been itching since 7:33pm. At 4:17am I woke up in agony and felt like something is tickling my whole body so I’m watching you to distract me from scratching all over 😬🥰

Gotta be the most sobering and surreal feeling ever for him. Well deserved too. This is all kinds of crazy. They absolutely tried to clean it all up and wrap it up hella fast. This case is so haunting for so many reasons. Makes me uneasy that any of this was possible and how slacking the law was WHEN A WHOLE FAMILY WAS UNALIVED!!! They couldn’t go back into the house to collect DNA after the house was released because DNA has been moved around, there may have just been a dinner party, etc.

Never place evidence that may contain DNA in plastic bags because plastic bags will retain damaging moisture. Direct sunlight and warmer conditions also may be harmful to DNA, so avoid keeping evidence in places that may get hot, such as a room or police car without air conditioning.
I think they wanted to wrap everything up, thinking it would not be suspicious. I know maybe in the moment it seemed like a good idea, but NK presented herself by her own choice. That is weird imo

I'm getting the impression (from the wording in the discovery) that the reenactment was for video of the officers "collecting evidence" & not the reenactment of the actual crime Chris committed..read it while on pause..(no distraction from audio). That would explain why they didn't do Shanann & it sounds weird that he would note *videoed by "handheld" body cam..like why would u need to hold it instead of wear it & why point that out in report? Smellin like day old fish..has anyone seen this reenactment video

What is also really strange about the way the house as a piece of potential evidence was handled, is that, ignoring any potential involvement from anyone else at this stage, Chris is confessing to killing his wife, but he is claiming his wife killed his children at this point. Presumably most people in law enforcement either don't believe this, or are at the least questioning it? So why is the house just released? Surely they would want to be going top to bottom to try to figure out if Chris was being honest, or not, about killing the girls?

Z- I love your channel but it seems many creators either don’t know, or have forgotten, that Chris initially said he “saw Shan’ann” unaliving one of the kids “on the baby monitor” while he “making his lunch”; stating he could see that child was “blue” in the monitor. He gave them a VERY detailed description of how Shan’ann was doing it.
Due to that allegation, it is 100% NORMAL for Hon*c*de Investigators to attempt to re-enact his “story”; Chris wasn’t prepared for them to find out the baby monitor showed in black/white only.
