Under the Sakura tree
A boy and a girl
Hearts beating fast
In unison
Moving closer together
Like magnets attracting
Each other
Trembling lips meet
Hearts skip a beat
Eyes glazed with love
And the possibilities
Of a life together
Under the Sakura tree
Tears falling
Undeterred
A heart, breaking
Dreams disappearing
Eyes glazed with sorrow
And broken dreams
Under the Sakura tree
Blossoms falling
covering me like an embrace
Lips whispering in my ear
Eyes lock with mine
Gazing into my face
With sorrow and a promise
You are not alone.
