That's exactly what it is. The younger generation has no connection whatsoever to OG's like we older heads do and that's understandable. Man my Fire Red 5s are still DS, but I'll UN-DS them one of these days.

Dang March 1 for the 12s, March 5 for the UNC 6’s. I’ve got to make a decision. I favor the 6s if they are going to be coming out days from each other. Meanwhile I have to go down a half size in newer 12s.

For me it's the OG 12s all day over the UNC 6s. The UNC 6s are clean, but I actually want the Midnight Navy 6s dropping in May more than those UNC's.

In my opinion, JB purposely makes small differences in every retro to differentiate them from each other. The og had the metallic eyelets and red jumpman on the front of the outsole, so the 2012 looks more like the og. But these 22s are a must cop for sure.
