[Immortal Samsara 沉香如屑] Yan Dan is the only descendant of an ancient tribe, the four-leaf scorpion. Since ancient times, her whole body has been a treasure of medicine. ChengYi was amazingly able to put off many very different characters, his portrayal of XuanYe was so different from his main character of Ying Yuan, even the movements and the way he held his body were super different in each role. I know that XuanYe was a baddie, but he was still super hot. 😍

Definitely. And director asked him to play XuanYe because they couldn't find any suitable actor so last minute ChengYi did it. He did not have time to study character and he impressed us with such an Awesome version of XuanYe

Well, he tried to posses it first, otherwise it wouldn't have happened at all. And it was given freely because he lied about everything he was. If he hadn't done that, she'd have never fallen for him. Also, she didn't give up anything except her life, which was the least she cared about. She cared about the survival and freedom of the universe, and about him; he cared about possessing the universe, and about her. They both cared about the latter less.

yes, she doesn't hate him. she saw it as her duty to protect the heavenly world, where she was from, but he wanted to take over the world, so she just had to stop him from causing more wars. in the past, she died while trying to stop him. but because he had a device to turn back time, he kept going back and trying to win over her heart and the world. His original line was "Between the world and my love, I will let go of neither." he was never successful, so he kept repeating and trying to change things. In this last life, something that didn't happen before happened: she gave birth to his son. She whispered to him their son's name and while he was stunned, she self-destructed and that explosion of energy killed him too. In the last moments, from his expression, it seems like he was happy just to be with her forever.
