      What the heck is the fish method? Is it the equivalent of begginer's method? Or is it worse? I mean when i started i kinda was doing the same thing and by that i mean,at OLL stage i would do the cross and then sune/antisune till i get a fish. I still do it after 3 months or so of cubing.

    - 10 minutes
    - a friend giving really vague instructions (such as: turn this up, now left, see the hammer figure? Do this.)

      @@hashimadeel4112 yeah I learned begginers method in a day then learned intuitive f2l the next day later the same day I learned advanced f2l the next day learned 2 look oll and PLL and then took me a while to learn all the oll algs but I did that then learned all the PLL algs

    My personal opinion: Though I learned how to solve it in a faster time than she did and though i can solve it consistently faster than her pr (just broke 2 minutes a couple days ago lol, will try to aim for 1 minute like my dad when he was younger), she still committed to solving it and she did. Good job to her. But I also do understand the points of cubers who are screaming at her throughout the video xD

      You can learn it in youtube in legit less than a day
      Even just an hour.
      Just learn the basic algorithms and you're legit good to go
      Unless you wanna get into speedcubing, it would definetly take you a while.

    I like that this video perpetuates the idea that solving a Rubik's cube is extremely difficult. I learned it in a few hours. In like 2 weeks I have learned the 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 and pyraminx. My 3x3 average time is like 1:08 with my fastest time around 30 seconds. I am like the slowest snail ever compared to experienced cubers.

    I perfected and learned to solve a 3x3 cube in just 1 day by watching a 40 mins tutorial and I learned to solve it in less than 2 mins

    I learned to solve it while I'm off work from having covid. I got it in 8 hours where I memorized the algorithms. I timed myself right after learning and can do it in 4:36. it's been 2 days later and probably can do it a bit quicker but I'd estimate it takes me around 6 minutes on average.

    When someone asks me to teach them, I usually teach them seriously for a minute then proceeding to solve the whole cube and asking if they understand.
    Tl;dr: teaching people how to solve the cube is a hassle.
