When I tried to get backup using mpi cable it is showing me a message
“online: The local MPI address for the programming device/ PLC is higher than the maximum node address or the wrong transmission rate or wrong interrupt is set”

I have downloaded backup from our S7- 300 PLC as per procedure depicted in the viedo but when i tried to go online it shows the error message " there are no parameter and local variables names available because their description is not availabe ate can not be assigned"
Then i cliked ok it went online. What would be the problem? Did i take the complete backup?

No problem ... this messege is for the comments ..... because you are taking backup from the plc . In plc only program logic is stored , comments are not saved ... that's why when you take backup only program blocks and hardware configuration is loaded into pc. That's fine ..... no problem ....

Online plc don't have any tags or symbols in it ..... only S71500 PLC have this options.
Once faced same issue with uploading the program when engineering system failed and no backup was available. Same way the backup taken as per your video

Some models do come with out memory card. Any way you can upload small program in plc , but it will be erased after a power cycle

Yes technically, it should communicate, if HMI is profibus enabled...
