- In the fourth episode of the Batanes Islands series, DJ and Don board a boat and head off across rough seas to Itbayat. There they discover a relatively untouched island with stunning rock formations and cliffs.
I used to live in Ishigaki, Okinawa, not so far away from the Batanes. I would love to visit the sparse island chain which connects Taiwan to the northern Philippines, including Lanyu and Itbayat.

Went to Ibayat in 1991. Looks positively over-crowded now. Also no transport on he island then to use - had to walk. Only one motorbike on Sabtang and that belonged to the priest.
we were there March 16 to 20, 2019 and we will go back for Itbayat tour, thanks for sharing.

Its west of Hong Kong, dear. "Of" Hong Kong means "from" Hong Konk. Which means Itbayat is at its west.
@@spongebobspongebob24 I don't know how you used the four cardinal directions to orient Itbayat, Batanes "from" HK. All I know is, North is up, East is to the right, South is down and West is to the left. Itbayat is to the right of HongKong, which means Itbayat, Batanes is east of HongKong.

Itbayat island borne from the ocean By nature process called geological uplift. That's why it has no beaches with sand, all cliff on all sides.

let Itbayan island be colonized by Japan or the US rather than be invaded by China .. It will generate more jobs to the Filipino people instead of working as OFW on abroad
