I did a lot of holding on to a chair, and for the advanced multi move exercises I just held two of the poses. Considering this I still got a grand workout and feel stretched and balanced after. You are a delightful teacher and assistant and I definitely found this to be a most elegant ballet workout.
Hi! First,I just wanted to say how much this has helped me. I’m a musical theatre performer who is blind and dance has always been a thabit of a learning curve ntil two years ago. I was doing the grand plies in the second routine in video and I just can’tdo them without bending forward. Any advice? Also, I’m having trouble staying lifted during the developés. Leaning forward and sideways a lot. Thanks so much! ❤ 💃
Hi miss auti .... I am dancer too I think as I dance and I am a teenager..... can you start a ballet online class... as my summer vacations is going on and I want to utilise it by learning ballet ... I really want to learn online 😩.... I am requesting you to ... but no matter what I am like your videos 😊
Thank you so much! Could you please provide us exercises to improve my pirouettes? I have recently started learning them, but I am unable to complete even one. I believe it may be due to my lack of balance or insufficient strength in my arms.
eg- start with releves into the pirouette position holding onto a barre/surface. Then start relying less and less on the barre and when reaching the position, try holding the balance without the barre. Next move into the centre and practice strong releves in the centre without the turn. Once that's down, a good way to crack the single is to practice releveing a 1/4 turn and using your head to spot back around to the front. Usually, the strength of the initial releve and turn along with the head will be enough for the full turn, but if it isn't just keep building it up further and further. In terms of arms, practice the positioning of a condensed first position (meaning the arms in front of you form more of a rugby ball shape than usual). Also feel your shoulders and back pressing down which will maintain arm strength. Additionally, some people find it helps to think of using the arm opposite the way your turning propelling you around, meaning the strength and speed of the arm joining the other from 3rd to 1st position aids the strength of the pirouette. Finally, focus on your head and spotting because it is one of the most vital things in ensuring your pirouette is clean and strong. Practice spotting/focusing on one specific point in the pirouette preparation and whipping your head around during the turn to maintain looking at it. This helps to maintain balance as well. Sorry this is longer than I expected it would be, but I hope any of this is helpful. Good luck!
Sorry, I just realised this is an American video meaning the positions of arms are called different things. When I said 1st position, I mean both the arms in front of the body. When i say 3rd, I mean one arm in front of the body, and the other arm out to the side. (I am a British RAD dancer so we have different terminology x)
I like this girl; one of the few who shows me front and back views. Im no longer googling senior or slow she’s spot on my pace

I'm not a teacher but one thing that I was told to do which helped a lot was isolate the skills and gradually build them up

@Ti&MeTv
Hallo
I love contemporary dance
But I am not flexible
Can you tell me a routine to be more flexible
Or an app that can help
Thank you
@ti-and-me
I have tried to cancel my app subscription but it says I must go to the website. Anyone know what website this is?
Who’s the teacher of this?
Watch one of her other vids and yoi will figure it out😊
