Tpol was really a hidden gem in this series. She walked a VERY fine line to share some of the most perfect facial expressions to convey what is so difficult for the Vulcan. She was a great cast!

@@pluckypluckster ... She did leave something to be desired on SG1. Maybe Tpol was just the right character for her to play. It cannot be easy to for one to manage the very subtle inflections to convey emotion from a character that is not supposed to show any by their very nature. This is made more difficult, as visually a VERY striking woman and that alone can be quite distracting. As Tpol, she walked this fine line to show emotion that is all but unheard of from Vulcans. However, due to her specific nature is more in tune or touch with her emotions, per mother's explanation at one point in the show. She was great in this show, so gets props from me :)

@@tonyennis1787 ... I would agree, that her incredibly striking beauty / sex appeal was paramount on the list of putting together a cast, I do think that she was a great in this roll. There were often times when her acting need only be generic to play the part, she was able to convey some of that emotion in a way that worked very well.
      .
On a COMPLETELY side note, did anyone else notice Tpol went from a solid, and I do mean "solid"... "C Cup" to a VASTLY more attractive "B Cup" in the last couple seasons? I don't follow MarxistWood gossip, but I think she had a "boob-duction" between seasons 2~3... I think it was.

Alas the problem with pre-cgi era you had to make do with models. Hence why the excelsior featured heavily in DS9 And TNG as support ships. The Miranda's served from pre TOS to Wolf 359 the Dominion War and Sector 001. And we rarely saw other support ships. In the CGI era and lower decks we discovered the California class. "Star Trek: The Magazine the issue with the battlecruiser in "Unexpected" was explained: "As Rob (Bonchune) explains, John Eaves had designed a new Klingon ship specifically for this scene. 'It was kind of the same shape as the original Klingon battle cruiser; just a little more primitive. The way John had done it was very much like the original series one, so it had very few windows, and they were small and red. So, when I dropped the ship into the scenes that we had worked out, you couldn't see that it had windows. At the time, it never dawned on me that this would be an issue, but I understand why it is, because in STAR TREK if there are windows they are obvious.' The producers saw the model only a few working hours before the show was due to be delivered. They decided it could only be used with major changes, but after their work on Broken Bow the team was simply too exhausted to work through the night in a desperate attempt to get the shots ready. Instead, the producers made the decision to use an old model. 'We wound up going back to a version of the Klingon ship that had been built for DEEP SPACE NINE,' Mitch (Suskin) says. 'But that particular type of Klingon ship will not be used again, because they decided that it just didn't fit into their vision for this universe.' Rob admits that, he for one, is sorry the old ship was used, but acknowledges there was no alternative. 'As a fan I really regret that that ship is in there, but people were just working too much. After Broken Bow, everyone had already worked so much overtime'."

I see, so you’re telling me you’re not a woman who gives into ultimatums. 😁
About Trips gestation location. I remember reading a Reiki book some 12yrs back that people’s used this pressure point against swine flu approx 40yrs ago to prevent cardiac failure that might’ve resulted in death. I can’t remember the pressure points name off hand, but I believe similar in location to LL electrode placement for heart monitoring. Approx 3” up from the bottom attached rib & 3” in from the inside of the costal cartilage. There’s a couple of nodules held for 30s that’s supposed to be beneficial 🤷🏼 Just good FYI. I watched the series for the first time roughly 3yrs ago, & felt it intriguing when I saw it. Star Trek is special 🙂

That's T'pau, not T'pol. T'pau was the only person to ever turn down a seat on the Federation council, and who officiated at Spock's truncated wedding ceremony in the original series. A younger version of T'pau turns up in a pretty good Star Trek: Enterprise arc and becomes a key person in the evolution of Vulcan philosophy, politics and relations with Earth.
