I love architecture, culinary, culture, white wine of the southern Italy, beaches, mountain ranges of the northern Italy. Woodfire pizza, home made fresh pizza, spaghetti, macaroni all with loads of cheese, ice cream. Dresses. Aggression. They don't keep things in heart. Community services.

Italy, ‘Bella Italia', calling to your soul. Italy not only appreciates art, culture, spectacular architecture, world-renowned food, and easy access to the rest of Europe but has adopted a slower pace of life and culture that prioritizes family and friends. Wines (Vino), whether you drink wine or not, you must at least try a glass of wine to experience the charm of Italy. Also, in Italy's film industry captivating and charming actors such as Monica Bellucci, Riccardo Scamarcio, Roberto Benigni, etc. One of the best movies of all time was produced back in the 1970s (I don't remember the exact year) titled ‘The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly’ and ‘Quo Vado’ in 2015 are impressively produced by the Italy film industry. Also, not forgetting Donatella Versace, Stefano Gabbana and Miuccia Prada famous Italian designers.

While you are at Bangalore you should try out Shavige Uppittu (Vermicelli Upma). it is ubiquitous among break fast joints there (Darshinis). It is one of th speciality dishes of Karnataka I think. Also if you get a chance have the Jolada rotti oota (Thali served on banana leaves) at Basaveshwar Khanavali, Gandhi Nagar,, - introduces you to north Karnataka food and also the thali at Mavalli Tiffin Room (Popularly known as MTR - you might have seen their spice mixes at Indian stores abroad). As for what I think of when I hear Italy - Seneca & his take on the philosophy of Stoicism - has helped navigate the difficult phases in my life. Also Marcus Aurelius

The scholar with significant contributions to Tamil grammar. He mastered in Sanskrit and telugu as well. He stayed in the south of India until his death in 1747…. India and specifically Tamil owes a significant part of its grammar to veerama munivar.

When someone says Italy the the first thing which comes to our mind is Garibaldi, Mazzini, Cavour and Emmanuel the honest Prince. you will be surprised to know that meeting between Gariboldi and Ajimulla Khan was the inception point of our first war of independence in 1857. Shahid - e- Azam Bhagat Singh got inspirations from Mezzini and young Italy movement. Even Anusheelan Samiti and Yugantar were inspired from Young Italy movement. Young India movement initiated by Henry Vivian Derojio which was of course our first attempt to see ourselves as a New Nation with new aspirations was directly influenced by Young Italy movement. I can even dare to say that forefathers of Italy are somehow forefathers of our struggle for independence also.

    So hearing word 'Italy'
First that comes to my mind is that cheese which is filled with milk inside it. Parmesan cheese. Pasta & Pizza. Nice streets. That's it
And cheese that has green fungus and blue fungus.
