St. Louis doctor discusses early warning signs of stomach cancer

I think in all early warning signs the hardest part is getting a doctor to run all tests just to be sure a person doesn’t have cancer because they assume a lot of different things that it could be. Lots of times they don’t believe a person has cancer if the blood work all checks out and then they think it’s something else and a person is misdiagnosed. It happened to my uncle as well as my father in law and it happens obviously to many people everyday. So it makes catching it early very difficult for people who may have cancer and not know it but who want to get checked for it.
Its always written off as stress or anxiety and they charge you 10 thousand dollars and are condescending
@@whiteyfisk9769 you’re absolutely right. It does get written off as something not to worry about, when they could be doing further testing to get to the bottom of the problem and trying to to fix it before it gets to the point of being untreatable and life threatening. Another big problem is listening to their patients and just assuming that their ailments is all in their head when the blood work turns out to be fine.

Not knocking this doctor, just want to say that many videos are on YT of gastric stomach patients having normal labs and vague symptoms at the time of diagnosis. Feelings of fatigue were common, but many at the time, were not anemic. Many cancers seem to be overlooked in the young, especially.
Had the interviewer been LISTENING, she would have heard that the doctor clearly stated prevention tips!
