    Nice video and I have also seen them a lot in park where I was recently. Unfortunately not so good for the bees. Because parts of rhododendrons can contain the toxic substance grayanotoxin. This poison can also be found in the nectar and stamens and is harmful to the bees that would feed unilaterally on this nectar. Gr, Tine from NL

    Very nice, do you know the approx pH level in your soil? It's too high in my neck of the woods, so I stick with growing Rhodo's and acid lovers in pots.

      Sorry, no, I don’t! These were planted here when I moved here. Typically speaking, the soil has to be amended around here for these to flourish like this. Our standard clay just won’t cut it, same with the azaleas. It takes some work, but it can be done!
