- A 13-year-old accused of killing two people and escaping from custody on Tuesday is back behind bars. The teen's uncle, Wayne Lambert told our sister station, WTVD, the teen showed up at his house still wearing a leg shackle and a pair of socks. The juvenile, identified as Jericho W., had been on the run since Tuesday morning.

I live in Chicago and everyone talks about how bad the crime is here, but this is how 80% of kids here are NOT raised. The streets raise these kids because the parents can't be parents. Then when all this crime and murder happens people talk crap. Yet, you can understand this little boy. I believe we need to stop cutting budgets on the programs that help the parents actually learn to parent and help these kids have somewhere and someone to go to so they are not on the streets alone at 13 years old or younger. This is a huge problem in the city of Chicago and obviously other places too. We need to help these kind ds before this happens. By the age of 13 these young men are considered men in the streets, it's crazy. Stop throwing everyone on jail and let's start educating and helping these families and neighborhoods.
