We don't actually SEE the dog but I would assume it was clearly severely injured, it just whimpers, I love dogs but honestly what he did was no different than finishing off a deer you hit so it doesn't die slowly and painfully.

    • @rayzala1393
      @rayzala1393 Před 3 lety

      Yeah I wouldn't describe that as 'cold'. Cold would be if he had caused the damage to the dog and then killed it. Most people would show up, call someone, and just wait but Underwood had the will to do what was necessary (which is the theme of his whole monologue while he does it). Pragmatic and cold are different.

      You grew up in a different world. Your generation had rights at the workplace. Your wages compared very favourably to the cost of living. You built savings for yourselves. You had a pension to look forward to. Compare that to the generations that followed you. We've seen a slow and steady erosion of workers' rights, to the point that we are basically wage slaves. With little in the way of dignity as we dance to the tunes of bosses who can now throw us out of jobs for the smallest reasons, with full legal backing. No sick pay. Minimal annual leave. To further this, we the modern worker aren't even respected enough to be paid a humane living wage. Instead, we're stuck at the same wages that have existed since 2008, even though the cost of living has more than doubled since then. All of this with no guarantee that the millennial will die in peace. Instead, they will be worked until death with no pensions and no savings. Now you tell me, how you can have any loyalty to any work place in this much of a toxic, hypercapitalist work environment.

    Wrong: The writers actually revealed what would have happened if Spacy would have stayed on the show and it was actually just about as awful as what they made without him. Clair would end up filling for divorce while still in the WH...yep. That's it. They would go to court, fight, argue...sounds like a lot of fun huh? Honestly this show would not have ended the way we wanted it too.
