Best playing on a pedal review video ever!
Forgot i was here for a pedal.
It sounds really good!
Pedal sounds good. John your playing is great!
What a great blues sound and a fantastic player!!
Jesus, that sound is to DIE for!
Damn...you really nail that Hendrix sound. Nice playing. Cool pedal.
This is probably my favorite pedal by him If I didn't have a Diaz TX Ranger as my basetone I would go for this Mi signal chain is guitar - Vibemachine - Ranger - Xotic Clean boost - EPH-3 - Silverstone 1482 Really happy with this set up right now Cheers great demo 👍
That sounds like a killer signal chain. Thanks for sharing. Love the xotic boost myself!
Nice playing! You guys love the Two Rocks Bloomfield, as do I. The video might have been more relatable had you played it through the Fender in the Foreground. I enjoy your content. 🙂
Sounds great. How can I play like you mate? :) Amazing technics
How does it compared with a jan Ray?
This pedal kicks absolute ass....I'm running it through a Supro Black Magick and playing an Eric Johnson signature strat and it sounds exactly like in this video
I love that strat.
Great playing man! You need a Strat with a repositioned pickup switch, LOL! Hey, are those gold frets?
uh wowzers. you can very play the guitar. much tone, very vibe
This comment made me laugh so much 😂
What's the chances of a sneaky unboxing vid guys. Come on boss. Fender custom shop maybe. Gibson CS. Suhr. Yes you know you want to. I carnt keep watching the fender strat one over and over.
Hey John, do you use the Blues Power primarily as an always-on pedal to shape a base tone, or as an OD/Boost for solos? Stacked with other OD pedals?
Thanks!
You should link to the video we’re Jesse’s amp is in the bathroom during the live performance. I can’t find it anywhere I searched all over after the Joey Landreth video.
Here it is mate :-)

Just really enjoy John's strat playing, yeah I'm sure somebody will say it's a bit to Stevie ray, but bollock's he's got that blues tone down. I'm a bit unsure now because I was dead set on the duellest pedal but now erm.....
Same as.. this has confused me....
If you could only have one pedal and the choices were the King Tone Blues Power, KT Soloist or Brown Amplification Protein (v2)? I have all three and can dial in the Protein to sound like the BP on one side and the Soloist on the other. Does anyone agree? (Pre CBS Fender tube amps/62' Fender CS Strat)
Does the playing technique come with that tone?
Hello can I firstly say great demo.I am looking to buy this pedal haven't actually tried it out for myself yet. My problem is I have neighbours so can this pedal sound like you played but at lower volumes .That is playing in the garage and bedroom.I look forward to your reply.
i had this pedal it`s great but sounds best with the amp ripping loud, but i sold when a got the pedal pawn texas twang i prefer it really nails the srv sayce tones.
Sorry I must have missed which amp your'e playing through?
Do you prefer this (Bluespower) or the Duelist?
Blues Power
What is the name of the band Jesse played in? I’m keen to hear him play in a band setting.
The Hoax. 👍🏻
This sounds a lot more natural than the Jan ray or dualist to my ears, I dig it. I wonder how it goes up against the gladio sc
Hey Josh! I’ve had both at the same time and sold gladio sc!
@@skeletor2000 no kidding! can i ask how come you chose this and why??? I am trying to lighten my collection of pedals and only keep 1-2 drives that do what i need... thanks
@@joshua0226 They both do a very similar thing but that word you used, natural, perfectly describes the blues power! I know most people seem to like the clean blend on the Gladio SC but I I found myself not totally loving it as I felt I could hear the separation between the clean and dirty sound in a way that didn't sound great! Gladio SC is a great pedal but the Blues Power just sounded more 'right' to me.
@@skeletor2000 that sounds awesome my dude, do you have an IG
@@joshua0226 hey man, I do! But it’s not really guitar related! Haha but if you follow electricmojo or pedalhaven on insta, they posted my board up a few posts ago - you’ll know it because the blues power is on it! Along with a KOT!
Would it go well with a Fender blues deluxe?
It absolutely would, the King Tone pedals go well with everything!
Killer.
a demo on a so expansive amp which sound already incredible this is not the right thing to do
Agreed. They should use a Princeton, Blues Jr, or Deluxe.
So expensive. I've got the kingtone switch in one of my Strats and its great but this is steep.
It’s a boutique, handmade pedal made from the highest quality components. It’s hard to get by, because it’s made in such few numbers. I got lucky and found one at Max Guitar in Netherlands. The prices for Jessey’s pedals can reach ridiculous prices on reverb.
You get what you pay for.. it's well worth it.
It’s a straight-up Paul Cochrane Timmy clone. Paul doesn’t charge nearly as much for the original, also. Buy from Paul, save money, and support the real designer!
Oh Lawd, that's jucy
Overdrive for the more discerning gentleman.......go on then: sometimes lady.
Great pedal. But the Nordland ODR-C is better. Similar full spectrum tonal frequency, but the Nordland is more spongey, clearer, has more gain range, the mids can be tweaked, and it’s more amp like.
Go look at formula B pedals and stop looking at this common tonality pedal. Not that great.
It’s a stellar pedal you should try one?
