Large, destructive tornado moves across I-30 in New Boston, Texas slinging debris and causing numerous power explosions. Aerial video shows the tornado coming into the southwest side of town with ground showing it cross I-30 at close range.

Rain wrapped tornadoes are scary. Especially if it’s rain wrapped. Rain wrapped and night time tornadoes are very dangerous. No, visibility unless you use night vision. That might not help, but taking a guess.

Sadly, there were casualties. Also, last time numerous Tornado emergencies were given was December 10 iirc, so nearly a year ago.

I live in Clarksville Texas and a tornado 🌪 hit just north of my little town. Also I'm only 30 minutes from Powderly where severe damage was done by a tornado. Lots of people come to the ER there

It lifted in centerpoint Arkansas right before it knocked over my fire departments radio tower went across our captains backyard

I was watching these storms on radar. One in oklahoma I saw at some point had extremely strong rotation in it. I think east of fort smith. Then there was the southwest arkansas and northwest texas ones. Those debris signatures were insane. My first tornado outbreak on radar. There's no doubt these will get an ef4+ rating. That debris and rotation was the worst I've ever seen. 2 mile wide hunk of trash in the sky. That's insane. The second I saw that debris I knew people were gonna die. This was not a good day.

One death has been confirmed in Oklahoma I think.
This was considered a major tornado outbreak. I think the new Boston Tornado will be an ef5, with several other 2s and 3s. Maybe another ef4
@@polistes3991 but it most likely is since it lofted debris over 30000 ft into the air and on the velocity scans it clearly was a multi vortex tornado with multiple extremely strong but small areas of rotation all right next to eachother
This might be the best nighttime tornado video I’ve ever seen. The twister is very well illuminated by the lightning and (ugh) power flashes.
And it didn't fully touch down either...imagine if that huge f5 would have completely touched down

New Boston Texas is only a few minutes away from Texarkana Texas and Texarkana Arkansas.

In SoCal watching live storm chaser videos all day. Stay safe out there. Love the excitement and energy behind chasing tornadoes, however, I understand how life threatening they are. Since I have never seen a tornado in person, watching videos about them fascinates me.

I lived through the ef5 that hit smithville ms and then Birmingham Al in April 2011, I still love tornadoes but that one was terrifying, killed 18 people in the small town of smithville that only had a population of 750 people

Last night scary here in TX! Seemed like it took a long time to get mature storms forming…then BAM! Those supercells lined up like a train and if you were in the path and one missed ya, the one behind it may not of missed. They didn’t stop once sun set either. East TX is hard to chase bc of tall trees, hills and lack of good roads in every direction. My thanks go out to all of the chasers who came here! This chase and video was great.
Also last night in Dallas area, TV and Radio somehow had a difficult time at first getting information from chasers to them. Connections were bad. Lightning was constant.

10 years ago I moved to Plano Texas. The one thing that scared me more than anything was the possibility of nighttime tornadoes. I put every app I could on my phone that would give early alert because Texas has the most underrated radar system and alert system in spite of being the tornado capital of the world. We have half the amount of Radar Towers that we should. So I don’t take any chances, I keep my apps up-to-date and I even have my iPad on all night with all my VPN‘s turned off and my location turned on with an external speaker hooked into the headphone output jack and turned all the way up so I’ll be able to hear the alert. Even though we do have tornado horns that go off, in the middle of the night it might not be loud enough if I am sleeping so that’s why I utilize an extra speaker.
This is probably the most worst thing to ever experience especially at night

It's bad enough when something like that happens but even worse when it's night and you can't hardly get your bearings.
It all started cranking up just East of Fairview and took off NE towards Paris and Sulphur Springs.

Yes, I have seen that happen many times. I'm not sure if it's possible in all cases, however.

Our tornado sirens were lit up two times last night here in Bryant, Arkansas (about 18 miles SW of Little Rock, just off of I-30).

Whew that was a wild ride last night. Praying for anyone who lost their home or were injured. My community manages to dodge everything but it was touch and go. We did have one touch down a few miles northeast of Quitman

Back home especially spring time. I remember when I stay back home in East Texas, they taught us how to make Tornados in jars when I was in school. I still hate Tornados. Love the rain, but hate those.
I was at the truck stop on 82/I-30 when it came through.
I was in the Walmart working not even that far away from this never knew it was that close!

My grandparents were inside a church during this tornado...it ripped the roof off and demolished the church except for the little room they were in.

Quite literally sometimes. I live here in Northwest arkansas, and these are all too common. I used to be enthralled with watching them, until I got in a couple. Had one level my entire town, 10 years later it still looks different

The sky was ominous all damn day! I knew at 6:30 am it was gonna be a bad storm day. I was driving from Plano to Keller and the sky was already wicked.

i saw this tornado live in a stream, a discord server i joined also talked about it. this tornado had a 5.4 debris cloud and was a devastating outbreak/
this tornado was huge and i heard the damage from this this thing was extremely bad with some reports of homes flatten to even foundations remaining.
It passed in 1976 October 13 but what is going on today and everyday is what is not being told
It's the 2nd severe weather season which is mid or late autumn and when u have the gulf of Mexico open for business supplying the moisture and the jet stream with a big ridge u get the severe weather and tornadoes right in between and in this case Midwest plains down to Texas and southeast, it's changing from a Indian summer like mid autumn to a colder late autumn so the weather battle is happening. Here in easter mass it's gonna be mid 70s for a few days and records will be broken will feel like early September rather then early November but then normal Temps by mid next week and next weekend to early week after next will be mid 40s below normal.

And then two earthquakes had struck 800 miles off the coast of LA California and the Atlantic Ridge. Both where the data cables going out across the oceans floor are. New Madrid, nothing over a 3 yet. What's going on out there appears here. Keep that in mind. We Can Ride This Storm. Even the Kitchen Sink.
