Urban Tiger Volunteers of Bhopal explores the Urban Tiger Volunteer Program, an initiative by Bhopal-based Ngo TINSA Ecological Foundation in partnership with the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department. This program engages local volunteers in monitoring and conserving the tiger population in Bhopal which is home to about 96 tigers. The film highlights the volunteers' efforts in setting up camera traps, conducting PIP checks, and participating in night patrols. It showcases the development of an ecosystem where tigers and the community can co-exist in and around urban spaces.
The film is made under the Green Hub Central India (GHCI) fellowship, a project of Dusty Foot Foundation and Mahashakti Seva Kendra (MSK), that looks at empowering youth in environment conservation, sustainable agriculture and livelihood through the digital medium.
GHCI is supported by Bharat Rural Livelihood Fund (BRLF)
This is such a great work being done by not just the forest department but the local volunteers in Bhopal. It is a gift that Tiger population is thriving around such a big city settlement. Kudos! ❤

Hats off to MP tourism, all people involved in this urban tiger protecting project. MP tourism in all aspects is better, safe and growing module for others. Maharashtra on the other hands is falling apart due to its mismanagement and poor administration.
MP the beauty for its jungles but Increasing population a great threat to our jungle and wild life.

Aap log badhia kaam kar rahe ho....mera gaon mai toh RBT khatm hogaye hain. 20 saal pahle RBT thhe. Hum toh 30/40 foot distance pe dekha karte thhe par itna gentle animal ki kabhi bhi kisi pe attack nahin karta thha. Christian atankbadi (Naxal) ne jab se utpat kiya uske baad unhone hi poaching kar RBT, Asian Elephant, Deer all species sab kuchh khatm kar diye.....Naxal ke bajah se total jungle aaj ujad gaya hai...bahut dukh dayak hai. Aaj aap jaise koi organisation agar mera gaon aayega toh hosakta hai ki fir se woh din wapas aajayen....please mera msg pe sochiyega...mai Odisha se hoon 🙏

96 बाघ तो पूरे के पूरे राज्यों तक में नहीं है । मध्यप्रदेश बहुत भाग्यशाली है । इस पूरे क्षेत्र को तुरंत बाघ अभयारण्य या कम से कम कम्युनिटी रिजर्व घोषित करना ही चाहिए।

Tigers must not live under by pass ring road of Bhopal.. Tiger should live atleast 25 km away from ring road .it is very dangerous for human..peoples are living in fear if anybody wants he should keep in cavord campus .like zoo
There is obviously enough prey species in the forest to satisfy the number of tigers that call the forest their home /Has there been any attacks on villagers or their livrstock /////////////
No attacks on humans although cattlekills are common but forest department compensate it timely
